Brady & Patriots are cheaters

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
All of the cases up to Brady were purely about unfair punishment, which is a ground for an appeal and court intervention on a legally binding mediation, which is what Goddell is per the CBA.

What is different about the Brady case was he not only found the punishment was not fair, but the investigation had "significant legal deficiencies"

It is a 40 page document that the judge issues, it is allot more than just saying he over punished Brady. There is a whole section that the wells report was supposed to be "independent" but was found not to be independent. The report (on page 5 if you want to look) talks about "there is less direct evidence linking Brady to tampering than either McNally or Jestremski" Meaning while they most likely did deflate the balls, there is no direct evidence Brady had any knowledge.

He also mention that the evidence they had, of the two Personnel being in a bathroom for less than 2 minutes with the balls and the lower pressure than the Colts balls "did not provide a basis for them to determine with absolute certainty whether there was tampering or not." Meaning there really isnt any direct evidence against the Personnel much less brady.

It also talks that Goddell should have agreed with being recused from oversight of the hearing, and as you point out, the appropriateness of the decision.

But make no mistake, it does find there is no direct evidence linking Brady, and the "general knowledge more probable than not" finding of the Wells Report. to be a complete over step of the boundaries.

So yes, in the 40 pages (if you read, because i have) of the judges ruling, it absolutely states there is no direct evidence against Brady, that is why it set aside the punishment completely.

PS, below is a link if you want to read the findings yourself.

I only skimmed it so I guess I stand corrected that the judge made a definitive statement on Brady's "guilt" in the case. Everything I had read and the major ruling of the case related to the Nfl overstepping their bounds.

Either way, Tom Brady, imo, knew a lot more about what was going on than he's letting on, because all of his actions after it was revealed were the actions of a guilty man.

The only thing Brady did was destroy his phone and refuse to give it to them stating they already had the texts because they had the other people's phone.

To be honest, if i was brady, one of the most famous athletes in the world, i wouldnt give my phone either. The emails were already leaked, i am sure personal text messages would be leaked too, naked pictures of wife, etc.

The only thing is clear is the NFL "leaked" false info like over stating how deflated the balls were, that the wells report was independent, etc, so Brady would be guilty in the court of public opinion. I dont know that Brady was guilty, although i do feel the organization is.

It all comes down to evidence, and there is none against Brady. Only evidence is he handled the balls, and is the starting QB so he should have known. My hate for improper investigations and lack of due process far outweighs my hate of Brady....which is pretty large.

Read the report, the judge was pretty pissed, so pissed, he was forced to side with a Boston athlete as a life long NY fan.

I don't know how you can claim that Brady is innocent but that the organization isn't when there is no evidence of anyone instructing the two assistants to do what they did.

I guess you can say that someone should have known, but apparently the guy using the balls had no idea even though he's said in the past that he likes his balls a certain way that they just happened to be.

Again, tampering with the balls is pretty innocuous to me. Trying to cover up what you did to protect your golden boy image is a much bigger issue.

There isnt 100% evidence they tampered. The colts balls lost deflation too. No text directly said they did it, more talked about how Brady liked his balls inflated, never said illegal inflation, they actually hated Brady, and when they think they did it was when the ball boy went to the restroom for 2 minutes with the balls, but he could have been taking a wiz.

They probably did something, but the evidence is very weak. I am not saying tom did or didnt do it, i am about 50/50 on that. What i am saying is the league way over stepped for several reasons and basically manufactured evidence and leaked false evidence to make the patriots and brady look more guilty than the evidence actually stated.

If Brady didn't play for New England and people around the NFL, media, and fans didn't hate Belichick so much. None of this would have happen even close to how it did.

Anyone that believes otherwise is living in a fantasy. This was clearly the owners in Goodell's ear to make them pay dearly, regardless of what actually happen.

There wasn't a single owner that was against what happen to them, except Kraft obviously. That should tell all you need to know.

I think Goodell was trying to make it up to the owners after all the stuff that went went wrong with him recently, that he just ended up sinking himself into quick sand fast.

Agreed. Belicheck is shady as fuck and is why i think probably did it. I really dont know if Brady is anything but highly competitive, and think he unfairly gets lumped in as a cheater because of Bill.

I will say the fact the head sets didnt work last night is the type of shit that only happens in new england. If you also think Brady re-wired the head phones or ordered someone to do it, then i dont know what to say. It is amazing how much cheating follows belichick though.

Agree. He should be separated from Belichick. Belichick is a dirt bag. I don't like him at all. I think he's shady as hell. He is a great coach though. I'll admit that, but he's just totally slimy, arrogant, with little ethics.

Brady shouldn't be automatically labeled the same just because he plays for him. That's just insulting to the players. They don't choose who they get to play for.

Belichick deserves no benefit of the doubt. That doesn't mean everyone that plays for New England is now dirty, or cheats, just because they're on the team.

I think that get's lost in the discussion too often. I get it, some people just don't like Brady. I don't really care either. But what happen to him during this deflategate was terrible. It was a sham job by the NFL. I'd be livid if this shit happen to the Browns.

I can't stand Boston fans either, they are annoying little bitches. But I don't really blame them for being pissed off either. The NFL actually makes me feel some sympathy of them? Ugh.

You heard that cause that's what the media wants out there. The judge made it clear how he felt on Brady's guilt.

Smoke bellowing right now.. They should tone it down before they get busted wide open. I'm pretty convinced that Brady and Belichick know about everything. Don't even want to talk the technicalities of the ruling; they've been cheating. Period.

The NFL had Belichick dead to rights back during Spygate. They had evidence of him cheating for over half a decade. They gave him a slap on the wrist. What makes you think they'll do anything now? He should have been banned from football ten years ago when he got caught the first time.

My belief is that they'll be forced to. If something happens where Belichick and Brady are caught with their pants down (so-to-speak), the media is going to find out. If the media finds out that someone said something (interview a whistleblower), the NFL is going to be compelled to act.

Why is this not blasted on every news station and Lucks integrity questioned. I mean this is the same organization that was cought pumping crowed noise and as recent as there last game they had 3 of 4 balls deflated.

god knows if that's the Pats the world would have stopped the minute it happened
