Browns Adding to Game Day Experience

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Let's hope this has a trickle down effect for everyone else, from professional to collegiate.

Falcons to offer lowest concession prices in major team sports in 2017

Classic
Hot Dog $2 ------ Waffle Fries $3
Pizza Slice $3 ------ Classic Cheeseburger $5
Nachos $3 ------- Chicken Tender Basket $6

Snacks
Pretzel $2 ------- Popcorn $2
Peanuts$3

Beverages
Regular Coca-Cola** $2 ------- Dasani Bottled Water $2
Souvenir Coca-Cola** $4 --------- 12 oz. Bud Light $5

**free refills
Even at these prices, the margins are extremely healthy. Not sure why a team hasnt done this sooner. If you can minimize "other expenses" for fans, you have a good chance on maximizing returns on tickets and merchandise.

This is a great idea. You're average fan won't buy 1 beer for $10, but they will surely shell out $15 for 3 beers. Also they are most likely to eat at the stadium and get 2 Hot Dogs and Waffle Fries for $7. Most people now eat at the tailgates or eat at a bar before/after the game.

Hiding this within the ticket price is even a better idea.

It won't. It will just lead to hella long lines thanks to the free refills.

This only works if Atlanta triples their income on concessions. The fact is that lower prices cannot offset the ' tailgating experience' that is costing teams at the concession stand. They have to couple this with ways to get fans into their seats earlier for it to really work. Get them out of the tailgates before they are completely full of food and alcohol, and ensure that they spend enough time n the stadium for them to need to re-inebriate and refill their food pouches during the game. Any ideas? Cheerleaders? Autograph sessions? Movies on the jumbotron? Weiner dog races?

Anything hut wiener dog races, definition of low brow IMO.

I didn't post the link for some reason, but they said in the article to combat long lines from the free refills, they will have separate stations just for the free refills. So hopefully right next to a lot of the concession stands, they will have a huge area/sign that says, "Free refill station" so everyone knows to just go to that if they only want that.

Sneak flasks in and you have $2 mixers

Blast from the past . Ironically shot through the eyes of a visiting fan. Last home playoff win.
Gave me chills remembering that old lady at the lake

Every time this thread gets bumped, like clockwork, I have an internal voice in a drunk, belligerent, sarcastic tone:
"YOU KNOW WHAT WOULD ADD TO THE GAME DAY EXPERIENCE? HOW ABOUT SOME FUCKING WINS?!?"

Single game tickets go on sale July 29th.

Buying tickets to the opener for sure, then we will see from there.
