Browns Adding to Game Day Experience

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Went to the game Sunday and it was cold as fuck and pretty shitty.

Couldn't even imagine a game in January/playoff time.

Let's build a fucking dome.
Went to the Browns-Lions game at Ford Field this year. First time I've ever experienced a football game in a dome.

It was nothing short of awesome. Not only is the stadium really, really cool, you don't freeze your ass off - especially since it was about 38 degrees and raining outside.

I loved it. Unfortunately, I think the ship has sailed on adding a dome to our current stadium - I think a study determined the foundation/infrastructure wouldn't be able to support it.

We'd have to build something brand new - I'm all in on this idea in the next decade.

I know it's fucking cold and freezing - but that is part of the experience you are signing up for buying tickets to a football game in CLE in December. I may be in the minority but I actually enjoy it.

Now with that said, I do agree when the time comes to build a brand new stadium however many years/decades that is - it must be a retractable roof; not a full dome.

Have you ever watched a game inside when it's 30 or below with 20mph winds? I too went to Ford field for the first time this year with bad weather outside. It was awesome. I would take a non-retractable dome over an open air stadium any day.

I agree with you. I try to make my yearly Browns game in Cleveland a December game. I want it to be 10 degrees and snowing.

The question you need to ask yourself is...Is it fair to the weiner dogs to expect them to run in sub-zero temps?

They'd only get smaller and more shriveled up, so the races would be funnier.

Is it sad that every time I see this thread with a new post I am thinking it will be Jigo with the news we are bringing back wiener dog races?

What a dick.

Putting this here:

The Art Director of the Browns also said this to a comment on that picture:

Q: "....would love to see Brownie integrated into more art/designs..."

Art Director: "stay tuned...more to come this season"

I personally love it (see: avatar). Now I am not saying about changing the logo, helmets, 50 yard line marker, etc..I am not 100% on what to do with that (leaning towards changing to the elf if I had a say), but I love at least apparel and shit with the elf on it instead of the helmet.

Very interesting new design/logo on Browns.com.

Check out the vintage/brownie the elf look. I’m going to assume jersey changes will follow this trend toward a more classic look once again.

Looks like they’re trying to maneuver towards the brownie logo full time.

I personally love it.
