Browns trade Kizer for Randall

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
It's not insurance.

It's like spending years driving an absolute junker, then winning the lottery and buying a Ferrari. But then being so afraid the Ferrari won't hold up as your daily driver that you buy a $25K Honda Accord for $40K just to be safe.

Yeah great, you have two cars now. The first car is still way better and you still overpaid for the second car that you didn't really need.
No, it's like buying the solid Accord for an affordable price first and then 6 weeks later winning the lottery and saying "Hell, I'm rich now, I'm gonna go buy a Ferrari."

In your case no one uses a Ferrari as a daily driver except Magnum PI.

The argument you over paid for the insurance might be vaild though, but I really don't know what the market for Tyrod was, he was coming off being the QB for a playoff team, so he had value even if looked at as an average starting QB and only on contract for 1 year.

And continuing to drive the Accord (which you overpaid for) over the Ferrari.

I also question this idea that Dorsey didn't know he was going to take Mayfield in March when he traded for Taylor anyway.

I think he was already locked in to Mayfield the moment he accepted the job all the way back in December.

The Pro Day and Baker's visit to the facility were just icing on the cake in my opinion.

I do think Dorsey knew who he wanted. I just don't know that they thought he'd learn so quickly, grow so quickly, and be ready so quickly.

I mean, we can just agree to disagree on the trade. I think they were trying to do the responsible thing and be prepared, even if it meant a little-used value for a mid-round pick.

Tyrod played 185 snaps, was largely horrible and made key turnovers in Weeks 1 and 2, and won't be back next season.

Well, considering the leap we saw in Mayfield's performance after Hue/Haley were shitcanned, it's fair to wonder if they didn't screw over Taylor as well. Taylor isn't as good as Mayfield, but he's not as bad as he looked in those first few games. Competently coached, he should have been mediocre...which is much, much better than the shitshow we'd recently had at that position.

What kind of car is Drew Stanton?

A 1978 corvette with a stock engine and a flat tire.

Slow for a sports car, used to look good but really was never great, and while its nice to have around in the garage, its not even drivable at the moment.

(PS, during the gas crisis, this car came with a 185 hp engine and went 0-60 in 7.8 seconds, not much of a sports car, lol)

Until you realize the weather is better and you can safely take the Ferrari out without it getting damaged.

The trade is so stupid lopsided, it got boring to talk about, lol.

Week 17, nothing to play for but pride and love of country between the lions and the packers. The frozen tundra of Lambeau Fielddddd. The crowd is anxious as Rogers goes down. They need a hero. This is your moment Deshaun. This is what you live for and what you’re made to do. Give the hard working, light beer drinking Packers fans some hope for next year.

16/35, 132, 3.8 YPA, 0 TD, 1 INT.

It wasn’t perfect. Some might even say downright awful. But those on the inside, those bright NFL minds that know that there’s more to the NFL, more to life, than the statline, they saw something. And it was special.
