Can only do so much when those are your primary pass catchers though.

Thought your guys game plan early on and in the 3rd was perfect, with the screens and underneath stuff. But you have to stick close on the scoreboard to run that offense, and it only worked for so long.

But you guys have the worst WR group in the NFL, and that makes it really hard for any QB...especially against a good defense, and especially when you fall behind 2 possessions.

Agreed. Call the timeout but you have 2 left at that point. Let the clock wind down to 15 seconds and call the timeout. Time for two plays for you.

No problem with the timeout there, just call it on the backend of the play clock, not front end.

Hue didn't catch a lot of flack for this, but it was atrocious clock management. There was no reason whatsoever not to let that clock run down on 3rd & goal from the 1. Trent Green briefly mentioned it, and Mary Kay had a brief lame comment ("perhaps ...") but that gifted three points to the Vikings.
