Cameron Payne

What kind of Tortilla do you use with that? Wheat or Corn?

Do you have to ask?

Obviously a shit taco is made with corn tortillas, now if its a street shit taco, its small soft corn tortillas.

There must be something more to the Mccaw signing and waiving. I know it's been floated that it could be a favor for the agent but doesn't it open up the Cavs for a retalition move from the Warriors in the future. If we don't end up resigning Mccaw, I'm not sure what we gain in the future. Who do Mccaw's agent represent other than him?

I always thought it was weird Koby would use that extra 3 million in salary to push us so close to the luxury line. I thought the organization would want that money to play with for trades at the deadline.
I'm sure Koby will spin it somehow if asked about it..I was mildly surprised but right now with the way things are who knows?
I just know this is unwatchable ball .

It's pretty simple. Cutting the double dog dare in McCaw set up the ol' "I triple dog dare you to watch this team" in Payne. Throwing out feelers to the fanbase.

I looked up highlights and his career assist game came up. It was against us this year.

This guy is absolutely awful. I puked when I saw we were signing him.

I teach college students... one thing I’ve learned is if a student says, “I think I got a C,” they most certainly failed.

Well... for one game he's been better than advertised.

The front office has justification for waiving Mccaw and signing Payne at least for alittle bit. Payne put up double the points in one game that Mccaw put up total in 3 games. Payne basically also equaled or exceeded most other stats put up in this time here.

I'll eat crow if he can hit the 3 with any consistency. Mcaw didn't look as good there at all. Payne is a much better ballhandler. I don't mind trading another sg for a 3rd pg.

So far Payne looks like an improvement.

I think Payne just looks better because he has been playing for the Bulls all season. I think McCaw had a higher ceiling once he knocked the rust off and learned the offense.

It didn't seem like Payne had any other suitors, which makes him an easier player to cut if we need the roster spot even temporarily for trades.

I liked the idea of McCaw but the timing and salary always seemed odd to me. We needed to clear out some of the wings before bring in another. Also the salary and roster spot handcuffed the front office as we approach the height of trade season.

As a SW MO resident, the Thunder are my primary team; I've followed them closely ever since the move in 2008. So here are my thoughts on Payne: I believed he had some potential in his rookie year with OKC. He dropped off considerably after that for reasons I'm not certain about. But before he nearly disappeared from the league, I thought he initially showed signs of bringing up the ball well, being alert, and having competent backup point guard skills. This is probably his last NBA shot to do anything, so he's got to be especially motivated now. Good to see him put up some points in his first game here. He nonetheless won't be the Cavs' worst player in recent seasons: I still think that goes to Jared Cunningham. :D
