Carter Almost A Cavalier?

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Wally, JJ, and a 1st (or two) for Bosh?

That could get it done, the only way that happens though is if JJ starts stringing together a bunch of 15ppg and 10rpg games left and right, and if he did that Im sure most people on here wouldnt want to trade him even for Bosh.

There's a great chance we don't make a move at all.

I honestly think they might not. I don't know how I feel about that, either. We still have a good chance to win it all. I still don't think we are better than Boston, though. That's why I don't really like the idea of standing pat. Then again, we aren't desperate to make a move.

Ferry is smart to wait it out. It wouldn't be a good idea to rush and make a bad move. If there's nothing there, we are okay.

How many of those games has JJ had so far?

I think he had a 15 point game against OKC. I know that he had a ten point game this year also. Any way he will hopefully get some burn tomorrow against OKC and will be available to the viewing audience.

Let's say he gets 15 points a game every time we play one of the worst in the league, does that mean he's too valuable to give up for Chris Bosh?

To be fair, he's averaging 8 minutes per game. His per36 averages are 15 and 8.

In 39 minutes Bosh is averaging 23 and 10. I'm not knocking the kid just saying that Bosh is a far superior player and that I'd give JJ up for him.

Besides, if you really wanted to be fair, you'd mention that his numbers are inflated since his 8 minutes is usually during garbage time.

Not really. He and Bosh are not to much of a difference age wise so trading JJ's potential for the what is'ness of Bosh is always a good thing. JJ won't be Bosh from what I have seen so if we could get Bsoh for him you have to do it.

Agreed. Even if JJ becomes as good as Bosh in a few years, Bosh gives us a much better chance to win now, obviously. Since Bosh is basically the same age as LeBron, if we had both of them at the same time for the next 5+ years, we'd have a much better chance of winning multiple 'ships than with JJ.

In short, while JJ does have a lot of potential, there's nothing to show us that he's going to be as good as Bosh, and I really don't see him ever been much, if any, better than Bosh. Who wouldn't like our chances if we got Bosh for Wally, JJ, and picks? Even if we had to give up Boobie, we could pick up someone to backup Mo, such as Dee Brown (who was just released by the Wiz).

Mo/Boobie or Brown, etc.
Delonte/Sasha
LBJ/Wally (if he was bought out)
Bosh/Ben
Z/AV

JJ is only 19 whoever said bosh and JJ are about the same age ARE NUTS Bosh has been in the NBA for what about 5 years or more JJ is a rookie NOT EVEN CLOSE

JJ is 20. Bosh is about 4 and a half years older. Bosh is still plenty young enough. He's a little more than a year older than LeBron, I wouldn't call him old.

Plus, what I really like about getting Bosh: It means we can offer LeBron AND Bosh more money than any other team. Plus, they would both be playing together on a team that has a lot of young talent, which is incentive to stay, for sure.

What I meant by that is the age differance between Bosh and JJ is not huge. I think it is about 4 years which is really nothing when you consider that is pretty much how old our core player is. JJ is still a good 3-4 years away from being Perkins. So really trading JJ to get Bosh would save us time with LeBron.

Any way it will most likely not happen IMO but I wish that it woul.

yea but I think IF WE DO TRADE FOR Bosh it would be next year at the deadline

Ben, 09 pick whoever that is, Jackson, all picks Tor wanted for bosh

the money would work and if we get a good SG for wally this year we are LOADED

PG. Mo, Gibson
SG. West Carter??? T-mac???? Butler???? G-force???
SF. James Carter??? T-mac???? Butler???? G-force???
PF. Bosh JJ
C. Z Andy

that would be a GREAT team and when Z's gone we could move andy up to Center and use our MLE in 2010 to get a back up Center thats IF we would have the MLE that year. Young Team that will take the NBA by the horns

Exactly. By the time JJ is an all star like Bosh (if he ever is), LeBron will be 27 or 28. Still plenty of time to win, but we could have 6 years with Bosh and LeBron being in their 20's.

That is my point. With a core of Bron/Bosh/Mo/West/AV/Darnell all of those guys will hit their primes around the same time and we can dominate for years leading up to their primes. With a core of Bron/Hickson/Mo/West/AV/Darnell/Boobie we still have a lot of young guys, but we have no promise of a second all star level player like we do with Bosh. Also with Hickson he would nail his prime about three or four years after LBJ is in his, and that is not a good formula. So basically I guess that I am saying Bosh is better because of the dominance now, and for the future.
