I always like Summer League. You get to see the no bodies get minutes and make exciting plays. Its gonna be an unpopular opinion but I liked watching Kay the Midget Felder ball in the SL past couple of seasons. Clearly more excited with Sexton Osman Zizic and Billy Preston. But summer league is always fun cause its also the last chance you get to watch some former college stars who either don't make it in America or go to Europe/Asia for their careers.

I wonder if Arturas Gueaitis is going to come over to play summer league with the Cavs. I thought I remember the front office wanted to see him play.

I'm hyped too. But i'm realistic. You will not see us run many sets, but you will get your fair share of some Lue closeups.
I would have absolutely been pumped had we hired a decent coach. I wasn't asking for much, someone like Fizdale would have been good enough for me...and it was realistic because of his relationship with Lebron.

He will likely be supported by Dan Geriot, a young coach who was promoted with him. Geriot played for the Richmond Spiders and was an assistant at Princeton. He goes a long way back with Koby Altman, and was originally hired as video coordinator under Blatt. Video coordinator was been the grunt work job for NBA coaches for a long time, good that he is getting a shot.

Not gonna lie, Preston looks like a baller...
But I also said that after watching Perry Jones highlights
I think Preston has some of the same questions. Where exactly is his desire? I did not like that he expected to be treated a certain way in Europe. He got a lot of fouls and was like WTF?
His mom pulled him out of 3 or 4 highschool's and she went to Europe with him. I hope Cedi, Mathias, Sexton and lil Z rub off on him. If he approached the game like they do, he could be a star. If he gets frustrated by not being handed the keys as an udfa, then he is not going to stick with this team.
His size and position are a specific need of this team. If he can't stick, that is his failure. He's the kind of tweener you love. Not too small, just huge and skilled.
His rebounding is one of the best things to me. If he can do all that stuff, but also rebound wow. Most stretch 4s like him don't really have that knack
