Cavs summer league team

The REAL test is having a Cavaliers jersey on. If he can actually hit a fucking open 3 with that uniform on, he's a keeper! No one else seems to be able to do that.

I think a Cavs jersey must be like one of the lead jackets they make you wear when you get x-rays. There is something about it. Jazz, Lakers, and Celtics jerseys are clearly much lighter.

For sure. It looks superb heavy and snug. If you sweat while wearing it you just can't move. It's disgusting.

Worse jersey in the league, easily. It looks super uncomfortable.

Does anyone know if both Zizic and Cedi play in the World cup basketball qualifiers?

Cedi is gonna play but there are only 2 games. Team is going to play on June 28th and July 1st. Then he goes back to Cleveland for summer league.

They will be on nbatv or espn. Some of the games will be on the espn app. They don't always stick to the schedule and will cut to other games depending on who is playing. The best thing is to have the app ready just in case they decide to show a different game.

I think Clarkson is miscast as a PG. I'm interested to see if he can be coached up to play off the ball at the 2. He has the talent to do that. I think he'd be more effective if he can be less ball dominant. Can he get there? That may be what Lue is trying to figure out.

If Clarkson is going to work with Lue in Vegas, I take that as a positive. It would be purely voluntary. He can't play in Summer League and there is nothing that obligates him to be there and do anything with the team. But if the report is true that Lue will be there and Clarkson will be working with him, it means Clarkson is agreeing to do so and may even know the agenda. If Clarkson goes, it shows a willingness on his part to work. That's a positive.

And just who is working on Lue to upgrade his skills as a HC?

Clarkson averaged just 1.1 turnover per game with Cleveland while playing 22.6 MPG.

Can't turn the ball over if you shoot it every time.

Clarkson could stand to make a few easy passes from time to time and not feel compelled to jack up a shot just because he sees the basket and he's in the game.

I don't put JC's low BB IQ on Ty Lue.

No idea, but Lue himself has said he has to grow as a coach. If he's acknowledging that, it's a start.

Brayon Blake is a 6-7 PF who averaged about 17 per game for Idaho. I think just a roster filler. But you never know. Delly wasn't impressive with stats either.

Hopefully Koby and the other scouts/front office people will go all out in summer league to pick off players from other teams. We need to be aggressive to find talent now. We will have the roster spots for additional players. No point in sitting back, we need to be like the Spurs last year with Brandon Paul. He impressed in two games and they picked him off our summer league to give him a NBA roster spot.

I think if they like him in the workouts over the last 2 weeks they will be smart enough to give him a roster spot before he even steps on the floor for summer league.
