I'm just saying that a model shouldn't be condemned based on an extreme outlier like the Cavs.

Any NBA playoff model also has to adjust to consider the players that are likely to absorb the minutes in the post-season with the further consideration that there will be no back-to-backs. A rested LeBron is going 40+ minutes every game when the score is close enough to matter in the playoffs. So the model needs to look at team performance with the Big 3 on the court for extended minutes because that is what the other teams need to beat.

I would go full wet as soon as they try anything. No JR, tt and shump near the action, you put an assistant next to them so they stay on the bench. JJ/Frye and RJ, DJ, Derron and LeBron. And you start hard fouling. Really hard.
You keep LeBron in just so he can take the retaliation FTs on the other end. If anyone is suspended we are still ok.

I agree with your points; but would rather see the series end as quickly as possible due to risk of unintentional injury or dirty play.

I thought Boston could steal game 1- but damn LBJ was unstoppable (kinda figured he would be) and Love exploded.

KI and Korver were both off, But TT had 20.

Boston should be better tonight. We'll see- I don't see them getting more than one now.

I think the Celts will pack the paint because they have no other answer to Lebron attacking the rim. That would also help against the way Love bullied them in the paint in game one. They'll try to force us to move the ball, find the open man, and knock down three point shots.

We'll need our outside shooters to hit their open threes. Love hit his in game one but we need more from JR, Korver, hopefully Kyrie. Same with DWill and RJ when they get minutes. I don't think Frye plays because of match-ups but if he does, then him too.

Agree and wouldn't be surprised if they experimented with doubling Love in the post and making a shooter beat them.
