No disrespect to Kyrie's superb skillset, but why isn't Frye representing us in the 3-point contest? I know the past month hasn't been pretty but overall he's been our deadliest marksman, and in the league's upper echelon where % is concerned.

It'd also be a nice gesture from the league to give a hard-working veteran like Frye his time in the sun (and then there's the sentimentality angle after losing both parents this year.)

Because frye doesnt want to go to the all star weekend, he has a vacation planned

He's been through hell this year. Losing parents and experiencing some sort of depression is absolutely normal; its going to affect everything about someone.

I'm hoping maybe the adrenaline of the playoffs can give him a boost.
