So Long Jordan Clarkson ( aka Chucky McJumperson)

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Time will tell about his overall defense but I loved that several times in the last five minutes he dropped down low into defensive stance with legs wide, hands out while Westbrook was in front of him advancing the ball.

That shows he wants to try and it’s infectious.

The whole defense in the final 5 minutes was really up in OKC’s jerseys. Like, “we know you guys might be able to break us down off the dribble or nail a long three but we are not going to make this easy for you”

Wtf were the lakers doing with this guy? He’s a stud.

I'm waiting for him to sprout horns. He defends, scores, and creates offense. Streaky? Um ok, but he can score anytime he wants, and is a wizard finishing at the rim? Sg size and can keep up with Russell Westbrook?

Oh and we get a freakish leaping big man who can switch on guards and dunk all over the place just for taking on a relatively modest contract these days?

Great deal, even with the 1st

These young Lakers man, that is huge, they already played in la under those glaring lights.

Correct me if I'm wrong but they both played with Kobe.
They have spent their entire careers in the west. While losing they have still been developing while playing in the better conference on one of the most pressure packed teams in the nba.

Now the beautiful thing is, these guys have been getting creamed by the other teams in the league and you know they probably have some pretty deep grudges about the losses they have taken over the past few years.

Now think about it, that's part of the hunger.
You got these guys we got now in Nance and Clarkson.

These guys probably somewhere deep down....
They probably got people who they just want to destroy. Now they got the team to do it..

You think these young lady kids don't wanna go out and kick Golden State or Houston's ass, they got a chance against ok tonight.

They got Boston yesterday.
You gotta think, with the la trade, la players are bred to hate Boston, so we got two young guns that want to instinctively want to fuck up Boston, but also most likely have deep seeded resentment towards the top teams in the west.

Clarkson is fitting in very nicely...great start to his cavs career

I feel like Clarkson is Waiters with basketball IQ. Basically the exact same skill set, but Clarkson is willing to come off the bench, move the ball, and play within the system without throwing a bitch fit.

He's faster than Waiters. His speed is ridiculous, but he's controlled too. Not like Westbrook, who seems like he's on the verge of injuring himself every other drive.

I really like this kid.

Is it possible by chance Irving’s overall value as a player was slightly blown up due to the LeBron factor ? Clarkson seems to be doing the same things as Irving . And he’s a team player so far , not some earth is flat weirdo isolating from his team mates . I truly believe Irving will be regressing sooner rather than later and have a short NBA career . Always seems banged up and he has no friends as well .

Irving has been basically the exact same player his entire career, with or without James. He's improved slightly this season with a better coach, but he's still basically the same player. He's an efficient scorer, great shooter, and dog shit on defense. That's who he was last year. That's who he is this year. That's who he'll be next year. That's who he was his rookie year.

I like Clarkson, but let's pump the brakes on saying he's anywhere near Irving's level as a scorer after two games. He's never been that kind of consistent in the past, which is why he's coming off the bench.
