Cleveland State 2011-2012

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
JMO hits a big 3 with 15 seconds, Vikes beat Akron.

Almost blew a 13 point lead.

I was there great game. Had big run to end first half, crazy how they almost blew it at the end. Grady will be huge for them in a year or two.

Another quality win for the Vikes.

Forwhatever reason, they just seemed like they had zero energy today. Just going through the motions and they almost still put a hurting on Akron. But silly mistakes, again, are costly. At this point in the season, we need to start having those mistakes corrected but it seems like we continue to do the same things over and over. Hopefully we clean that up for the conference run...

Got worked by USF. At Large chances not good. Will have to dominate the HL and win a big Bracket Busters to get an AL spot.

To conference play, then.

Just bought 4 tickets to the Butler game on Feb 11th for my dad for Christmas....he's a CSU grad. Boom.

A derp against YSU at home. Beat the awful Chicago schools at home. Big weekend coming up @ Valpo and @ Butler.

PD assigns Elton Alexander to cover CSU. Never thought I'd read a guy who made be long for the days of Roger Brown.

I assumed that with Matt Howard finally gone, I might not see a CSU-Butler game with awful calls. I was wrong.

Important win vs UWM. CSU now tied with Valpo at 7-2 in 1st.

I was at the game today. CSU was on fire the whole game and the defense played great. Really fun team to watch and the crowd was good today expect student center was non existent.

A good weekend for the Vikes.

Both Valpo and UWM lose while CSU avenges an earlier loss to YSU. CSU now 1 game ahead of Valpo in loss column and 2 ahead of UWM.

CSU has a 2 game roadie against Horizon bottom feeders in Chicago, then host Valpo. Win all 3 and CSU is in very good position to lock the #1 seed.

Daundray tweeked his hammy, but an otherwise ho-hum road sweep of the awful Chicago schools.

CSU sitting at 2 conference losses, Valpo at 3, and next closest at 5. Valpo comes to Cleveland on Thursday. If CSU wins, they're up 2 with 5 to play. Lose and they are tied in the standings and lose the tiebreaker.

Apparently, they are the same team as last year.

Tough loss but the tourney is all that really matters. Hopefully they avoid Butler because even when they're garbage they're giving CSU problems.

Was at the game today, we just played sloppy the whole game. We'd have a good run going, get it close or tie it up then turnovers just killed us in the end.

What a mess, the exact same script as last year. Obviously, no chance at an at-large bid now. And the way events are spiralling right now, i wouldn't bet on CSU beating anybody in the tournament. And just like last year, they have every chance of losing that first-round bye.

Last year it was the lack of a bench, this year i think it's more the lack of a legit point guard. It will be interesting next year. Grady is already showing why he's the best recruit CSU has had in a while and they have a few really good ones coming in as well. It will be a very inexperienced team, but probably way ahead of the current one in terms of talent.
