1. Draft position is ultimately irrelevant. He either contributes at a high level or he doesn't.

2. There are numerous reasons why guys don't work out, and it's not always specifically a GM's fault they don't.

3. In the context of a whole career, nobody cares about rookie season production. They either show that they can play in the league or they don't. OJ Mayo, Tyreke Evans, and Michael Carter-Williams are all proof of that.

Already giving Altman a pass well before Sexton is considered a bust .
