Another Bob shutout in the books. He now holds the CBJ single season record for number of wins at 34.

Jackets officially clinched a playoff berth yesterday, getting to the 100 point mark for the first time in franchise history. They are now tied with Washington Caps for most points in the NHL this season.

Goalie Bob has posted a ridiculous .9716 SV%, making a late-season push for Vezina trophy consideration. This is the best he has looked all season, IMO.

We've also been helped by Oliver Bjorkstand who was called up in Mid-February and has 6 goals and 5 assists since.

Now's the time to tune in, folks. Shit is getting real.

I'll be attending my first ever NHL game next Tuesday. Making the trip down to Columbus for the basketball state tourney on Thursday, and then staying a few extra days since it's my district's spring break.

Go Jackets!

Nice! Definitely would recommend hitting up R-Bar before the game to get the authentic CBJ experience!

Just keeping this thread alive for the sake of the playoffs. In his last ten games, Sergei Bobrovosky has essentially won the Vezina trophy, IMO. I am not sure i've seen him look this good over a long stretch in his entire career...967 SV% and 4 shut-outs in his last ten games...crazy. He just needs one more shut-out to tie Braden Holtby, another likely finalist for the award, but leads in all other relevant goalie statistical categories.

The Jackets have a huge matchup at home against Washington this Sunday. As long as we don't shit the bed this week, winner of that matchup will be 1st place in the Metro.

The way the NHL structures their postseason is perhaps the dumbest thing in professional sports.
