Conspiracy Theories / Wild Predictions

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
No, the Obama Administration -- wrongly -- claimed they were all gone. Guess they got that wrong....

So we'll have to see if Trump really does anything about it, or not. He's not responsible for this attack, but he's responsible for what he does in response.
Russia was responsible for the removal of chemical weapons from Syria.

Russia was responsible for the removal of chemical weapons from Syria.

President Obama told us that he was going to ensure the chemical weapons were removed, and later told us that it was done.

If he cut a deal with the Russians to do the legwork, and failed to verify that it was done correctly, that's on him.

No reports of chemical weapons being used until 3 and a half years later after Obama was out of office.

When is the cutoff where you quit blaming the last administration?

To top it off Trump was all over twitter saying Obama should not use any military force in Syria the first time around. Even so Obama asked Congress to authorize a strike which they refused to do so instead he found a way to remove the threat, which was effective until he was completely finished with his term. Next man up now.

...

Too soon to say the US perpetrated the chemical weapons release to get into a war?

No, that's actually not true. There were reports that the Syrians had done it a number of times since then, verified by the U.N. and others, and which the Obama Administration itself acknowledged in 2016.

Depends on the issue. Obama blamed Bush for the economy until virtually the day he left office. But in this case, I blame Obama for making our credibility for shit on the issue of chemical weapons by making threats but not carrying them out. So I blame him, right now, for Assad having and using chemical weapons.

Going forward from this, if Trump ever tells us that the chemicals are gone, and we are then hit, it'll be Trump's fault.

I do agree Obama shit the bed on Syria. But there wasn't exactly a cut and dried solution. Every option had potential to make the situation worse. But doing nothing was as bad as anything else.

Obama shit the bed on Middle East foreign policy in general.

Yeah it is odd. On my FB feed it is generally unpopular but the people who are supporting it tend to be Lefties. Most of my GOP friends are adamantly opposed.

And almost to the man, my military friends are dead set against it.

Appeal to globalism. Blech. I get it. And more refugees, more welfare.

Still not in my wheelhouse, but working on a unidimensional low res image.

His hardcore haters are still bitching about him not wanting to bring in refugees.

Welfare?

Unless i, and many articles ive found are mistaken, 91% of muslim refugees are on food stamps and 61% cash aid.

Ive seen "federal tax payer is on hook for 20k per refugee"

Common sense leads me to believe muslim refugees from syria arent immediately going to be able to enter the us work force fresh off the plane.
