Conspiracy Theories / Wild Predictions

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
You're mixing up two different things here. The Wikileaks were not fake. But there was also a Russian campaign to spread fake news and troll the internet with anti-Hillary propaganda. And it was successful. This is not to entirely pass blame from the Clinton campaign, but these things did happen.

I'm confusing nothing. I previously stated explicitly that I don't think the truly "fake" stuff affected the vote because the folks who would believe that stuff were very likely Trump voters anyway. It was on the margins/conspiracy type stuff. At least that's my opinion based on what I was reading on conservative websites.

I do think there's a better argument that the DNC leaks affected how people voted because those got much more substantial airplay/media coverage, but I also said that stuff was true.

I'm kind of curious as to why you guys keep bringing this stuff up. What do you expect to achieve? I measure my vote for Trump against the alternative presented, and I'd vote the exact same way 100 out of 100 times knowing what I know now.

I've said -- from the very beginning -- that I care more about policy than I do "scandals". I even said that the Clinton Foundation stuff really didn't affect my vote. I thought it was sleazy, but not close in importance to their relative position on the issues. I really didn't care about it other than in terms of how it might affect how others voted.

The amount of viewership on fake news articles is staggeringly high and almost endless.

The effect of that type of false information affecting a razor thin election can't be understated just because you want it to be.

They were even area specific in how they disseminated these shares and stories.

Its literally impossible to account for, but just to be fair, there was an incrediblr amount of egregious stuff coming out on everyone and no one seemed to care after awhile.

I dont think you could posit something more motivational than 11 accounts of rape reported on by every msm source.

Feel free to have that opinion, but your statement:

Wait a minute. Those weren't fake.

misses what Scrote was saying. He did not state, to my understanding, that the leaks were fake, which is what you're implying. He just was also bringing up the fake news posted by Russian trolls, which you acknowledge (even if you don't think they had an effect).

It's just some online debate. Challenge some ideas, get your ideas challenged. Nothing will be achieved here other than maybe broadening perspective a bit.

I think you made the wrong decision with your vote but it's already cast. IMO, we shouldn't be worried about the votes we made and focus on the job the president is doing. We can no longer make the measuring stick Hillary because we don't know what she'd be doing as president right now, the measuring stick is he's the fucking president and the buck stops with him. I frankly don't need to hear about her again for the rest of my life, she lost.

Notice anything odd?

Look closely. There is a glaring error.

Internet just makes jokes about age difference, the picture being focused on him, her not being in the white house.

No not that. Mistake isn't with the people in the picture.
