Conspiracy Theories / Wild Predictions

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
This part pretty much never happens.

Crowd size. Not even figuratively correct.

Illegal votes. Not even close.

This wiretapping thing, his statements have all been false. It's not even right versus left anymore. It's the left versus Trump supporters with the Republicans trying to stay quiet.

EDIT: Should also mention one of his bigger claims, that they "found nothing." Even though the Russia investigation is still going on... Saying he's "generally right" is a lie. You could say he's right if you ignore parts of his statements, treat everything as vaguely as possible, and purposely misinterpret reports for your own gain.

It's like if I said David is racist. And then I say it again but put it in quotes. And whenever I'm questioned I just say "well Gouri's saying it." And then eventually someone quotes you talking about racism and then BAM I guess I was generally right about that huh?
Well someone in Ohio went to prison for voter fraud.

Trump is under surveillance.

Sweden is under attack.

Just a few off the top od my head.

Id like to not explore your other diggression but it's not equivalent. Youre referring to someone elase making a claim, it doesnt make any of it true.

If this were literally true and actually ordered by Obama they'd be able to prove it. Clearly the FBI has been investigating him and his people since July so who knows what all they've done, but the literal words and underlying message of his Tweets are both BS until proven otherwise.

Oh I agree, but Trumps rants always come with a hint of truth. In this case I am sure he found out he was bugged, but where he goes of the railing is I highly doubt Obama himself had anything to do with it.

Originally people thought he was paranoid for just thinking he was bugged, I pretty much figured he was because of Russia.

Again, you can make a claim that some vague portion is true sort of, but none of his statements were true. And to say "generally right" is a massive fucking stretch. I mean, you're making a point about the media cycle and Trump's strategy here, which I get, but do you actually defend what he's doing and saying? Like, do you think it's okay for him to lie so blatantly?

"Why do you say that I have to apologize? I’m just quoting the newspaper, just like I quoted the judge the other day, Judge Napolitano, I quoted Judge Napolitano, just like I quoted Bret Baier, I mean Bret Baier mentioned the word wiretap. Now he can now deny it, or whatever he is doing, you know. But I watched Bret Baier, and he used that term. I have a lot of respect for Judge Napolitano, and he said that three sources have told him things that would make me right. I don’t know where he has gone with it since then. But I’m quoting highly respected people from highly respected television networks."

I'm literally doing what Trump does in my "digression." Absolutely equivalent. In fact, nowadays EVERYTHING is fucking equivalent because we don't have to take the president at his word.

A nugget of truth under a pile of bullshit still has a pile of shit on top.

The issue is that Trump keeps making such wild, ridiculous claims that can't be proven, which only causes him to lose credibility each time he's proven either totally or mostly wrong. The boy who cried wolf and what not.

No, Youre starting another race argument between me and gour, but dont let me stop you from turning up the heat.

"LOLOLOLOLOL" just dont. Is that difficult? Are you socially unaware or do you intend to bring another thread down? Its one or the other.

This thread turned to shit and it surprisingly wasn't Dave.

A nugget of truth under a pile of bullshit still has a pile of shit on top.

That right there is the perfect way to describe Trumps claims. But remember, they always start with that Nugget so you cant just laugh them off, it is far more dangerous than that.

No I'm not. I was using the previous race arguments as an example of something totally different. I'm not talking about race at all, I'm illustrating how Trump communicates in ways to create a new false truth.

I've never brought a thread down BTW. But this is no longer about the subject I was addressing so I'll move on.

You havent, but just as an example you were basically calling q an idiot while discussing things. Hes not as "flippy outty" as others (me).

Its just kind of funny that people(not just you) are using me and gouri and racism as rhetorical examples to support loosely connected claims, and all of those things have basically been why threads go off the rails.

I understand your main points.

I'm not sure if all of these qualify as "conspiracy theories", but here are my beliefs regardless.

-Both JFK and RFK assassinations were orchestrated by the CIA.
-The Clinton Body Bags involving multiple mysterious deaths surrounding people close to Bill and Hill are actually murders instead of the often ruled suicides.
-The Iraq War in 2003 was primarily motivated by Sadaam's refusal to play ball with the US and Saudi Arabia regarding the country's oil supply.
-King Edward had to step down from the throne not because of his marriage to Wallis Simpson but due to his ties to Hitler and the Nazis.
-While much of the Pizzagate story is false, some of the names listed are covering up known information about those types of rings.
-Princess Diana was murdered by British intelligence officers.
-Michael Hastings was not killed because of drunk driving, but by a car hacking from CIA officials.
