Some of these posts are hilarious here. Counter-strike remains the absolute #1 FPS title for e-sports and CS:Go has ended up being HUGELY successful. Anyway, I didn't grave dig this thread to point and laugh. I was actually going to start a new thread for this game, but ended up finding this thread. I'm assuming there are some guys here that play it or maybe want to give it a shot again. Counter-strike just has a unique feel to its gunplay that hasn't been matched by any other shooting franchise.
In my opinion, this is the best tutorial you will find for using assault rifles. Keep in mind that every gun has it's own spray pattern, but the Ak and M4 are similar enough and are the gold standard for their respective team. I like busting out the sg 553 every once in awhile on T side. You have to pull down and to the left more than the AK or M4.
Something that this video fails to mention by the way is you
don't want to be moving while firing an assault rifle of any kind. You can run and gun with the pistol and sub machine guns. You want to stop and pop with the assault rifles. Another thing, always have your crosshair pointing at where you think someones head wil be. I see so many people running around with their crosshair pointing at the waist or even lower. Start at the head and pull down with your 8-10 shot burst or full on spray.
