Damn, Jimmy G this is some serious good quarterbacking.

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Anyone sayig Brady should be traded should go down to the local bridge and jump off it.

Coming off a Super Bowl and still the 2nd or 3rd best player in the NFL.

You don't trade a legend like that. You go down with the ship and he retires a Patriot.

First off, I don't know why so many of you don't understand you CAN'T trade Brady, to begin with.

He makes way too much money. This isn't like basketball.

Second, I really wish some of you'd take the time to READ what is actually said, instead of just jumping the gun, then coming back with passive aggressive insults.

Let's recap shall we. I wasn't making the case they should have let Brady go after the Super Bowl, or this season. Yes, that would be insane.

But this off-season, when THEY'D HAVE to make a decision between Brady, going on 41, and Jimmy G whose a free-agent, who very likely looks like a pro bowl caliber QB for the next 10-15 years arguably.

How anyone can sit here and say its so stupid, and not even logical, to consider going with the guy that has a longer window at this point.

And this isn't like basketball, again, where one guy can do it all, nearly, and still win it all. You need help in football.

Brady is the greatest of all time. Not arguing that, but he can't win Super Bowls by himself.

But hey, guess what, other franchises have let go their legend QBs, when it seemed inconceivable.

Because hey, everyone ages and everyone's window closes. Brady's will too.

41 years of age, and people are acting like it's a crime to possibly move on from that, if you had to choose between him and a guy that can be a pro bowl caliber QB for the next 10 years.

I understand the logic of wanting to ride it out with Brady. Not suggesting that's a horrible idea. Just let's not sit here and say the other idea is really, really dumb.

When it's at the very least logical. It's not an easy decision to make. The Pats wanted to roll with Brady.

But, if they don't end up with another SB, I think it will be a big mistake, frankly.

After Brady goes, they're are done. And I don't why someone mention "oh they can just draft another QB" like its easy finding great QBs in this league.

Believe it or not, that Pats have bombed on their QB selections as well. I mean, they drafted Mallett and thought they had something special there.

Only to turn out he sucks. It's not easy for any franchise, including the Patriots, finding a really good QB.

You let Brady play for you as long as he wants until he hangs it up or falls off the cliff.

They have a chance to win a super bowl this year, next year, and the year after with Brady.

Why won't this thread die?

Why won't this thread die?

Because - and this is just a guess - Jimmy Garoppalo is the biggest story in the NFL this week but the Browns traded for Brock Osweiler and a pick last summer. And now we suck.

Without Jimmy the 49ers were the T34 to our M4 Sherman.

With Jimmy, the Niners look like a fucking playoff team.

Amazing.

Dude looks like a HoFer out here. Christ.

Gotta go JG on this one.
It's like picking between one of the Ridley sisters
