I've been in this forum a year ago in the finals when blatt coached and after the finals series I said that what blatt did with last season's team was amazing and the best any coach could do. Now you see that david blatt getting fired was a huge mistake, since tyron is a lame coach. lol peopel said blatt's not actually part of the team and the players don't like him. So blatt got fired, and Lue got to be the head coach, "Lue's the perfect match, he's one of the guys, a friend of the players", people said. You can see that your current coach just sucks, he has no game plans, can't adapt during games, he's just "one of the guys" and not an actual coach, sure not a game changer. Saying you played well before the series against GSW is also a lie.
Cleveland managers have disrespected blatt because he came from europe and because Lebron ego, that's karma from my point of view.

At the end of the day...having Blatt as coach wasn’t going to beat this Golden State Warriors team this year either. He might have even done worse than Lue because there was a trust issue between him and the players.

Blatt might not even be a right fit for the NBA at all since no NBA team would hire him or offer him a job this summer.

So Blatt getting fired, not getting fired...who fucking cares. The end result would be the same anyway and that’s all anyone really cares about.

Let me tell you guys something, Lebron is the course and blessing of this team. He's good enough to take you to the finals in the east but his ego is not good to give you a championship. Blatt has made by himself last year's roster an actual finals roster, JR? Shumpert? Tristan? Delly? Mozgov, each and everyone of these players has been a key part because of blatt and not your "LEBRON", JR and Shumpert made the step up because of blatt, JR himself said "I'd run through a brick wall for blatt", Delly said "I'm always goinh yo be grateful to david blatt", you keep talking about players disrespecting Blatt but what I see is a coach that made JR be deadly, gave confidence to Shumpert and tristan, made delly go to battle with Curry and look eye to eye with him and use Mozgov (remember that mozgov was coached by blatt in russian national team) the proper way.
Lol cavs were up 2-1 in the series in that time exactly last year without love and irving and you keep saying lue is good because players love him, he's not a coach in this team.
You're blinded by your love to "the king", he is a punk, whenever blatt came he always tried looking superior to him, saying he scratched his move in game 4 against the bulls, shoving him, no wonder blatt had troubles with him.

you have to take that approach when you know someone don't like you and respect from the beginning and this person has more power than you. Blatt did his best to be in LeBron's good side and I bet he though that he proven himself to LeBron after the finals. Spolstra had Riley so he knew he had someone more powerful that LeBron ah his side so he was able to coach up LeBron. the players he was able to coach up played the best games in their career- Kyrie, Delly, Shump, Jr, Mozgov. Even LeBron was better last finals.

Did Lebron really never give him a chance from the start? I'm not too sure. Blatt was very green when he started out and that lost him some respect not just from Lebron. Where we fault Lebron is not recognising that Blatt also had strengths superior to Lue's and not realising that Blatt could only get better. We should have done a better job protecting Blatt from Lebron's shortsightedness

As nphan said, blatt was marked from the start. As a person who have seen blatt coached not only in cavs and follows him during his entire career, he has faced big names during his life and all players love him, you should be looking at players he coached and how they talk about him, not just in cleveland as I said - tyrese rice, anthony parker, doron perkins, jeremy pargo, ricky hickman, shawn james, devin smith, david blue, andrei kirlinko, Mozgov and Fridzon. Most of these names probably don't mean anything to you but they are big names in europe, all of those did great things under blatt and he has big credit for that.
What I'm trying to say is that you can't complain about blatt being afraid of lebron, it's just that lebron didn't want to be coached under blatt, end of story.
