DeMarcus Cousins

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Pels think it's severe. Gentry says they're really scared about it.

FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK

He’ll never be the same again. Even after a year of rehab. Poor guy.

This sucks. #PrayersforBoogie

That's brutal, I wanted them to get the 8 seeds and knock around golden state

I dunno... that's not without major financial risk -- to the tune of at least $125M if Cousins gets just a $25M/yr 5-year contract. And if he gets say $30M for only 3 years, that's still $90M guaranteed.

It's a grip...

I think they really need to re-assess their future at this point.

Apparently their goal is still to add talent at the deadline and make the best run they can for this year. Re-visit everything in the summer.

I suppose.. they're hoping for the best.

I think there's a valid argument to trade Davis now, for the Moon... Get salary relief (Jrue) in a Cousins trade, and let Cousins walk.

Stack picks, and then simply.. trust the process.

Still cannot believe this shit. All during the last seconds of the game... Man just dropped to the ground and you knew it was over.

Sports is so cruel.

(Draymond needs this injury...)

I'd frame his agony.

The other thing you have to keep in mind here is support for them as a franchise is tenuous at best. It's one thing for Philly or even Cleveland to go full on tank. Those fan bases are going to tough it out. New Orleans doesn't have that luxury. If they go full on trust the process... there's no guarantee they make it out alive.

My biggest concern pertaining around NO is Davis ending up in Boston. That would be a problem for us much bigger than the one they already present.

This is so sad. I always liked Boogie, thought he got a bad rap. And he was just emerging into his peak, living up to that incredible talent. Robs us all of seeing that great NO frontcourt play together.

Offer Love, the Nets pick, and whatever else it takes, for Unibrow. Demand a commitment out of LeBron.

Arvydas Sabonis. He was actually very athletic for a 7'3 guy, but after that Achilles injury he had lost ALL of his athleticism. Everything. That being said, it was 1986 in Soviet Union + they rushed him back to play for the Soviet squad. It's very possible DeMarcus will be able to keep some of his athletic ability with the help of modern science/medicine.

He had two acl tears and as you said the medicine level at that time was awul, from interview of his teammate at that time I read that doctors did not even know how to heal it. And still after that he came back and still stayed big star in basketball for next 10+ years.

One of my all time favorite players. Best passing big man, ever. A cross between Zydrunas Ilgauskas, Jason Kidd and Karl Malone

It was Achilles that ruined his career and robbed him of his athleticism.

well he is still considered one of the best european big men to ever play basketball and after these injuries he still played for 15 years on a very high level so to say that it ruined his career is overstatement, but yes he could have been best big men to ever play basketball, as a lithuanian myself its truly sad that he could not reach his full potential
