Diet and Workout Routines

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Sure, what do you have on your meal plan? Getting tired of stir fry
Actually I love things such as mushrooms onions, garlic spinach all cooked together. There are some kick ass salads that I have my wife make me too I got off a twitter account from a vegan diet. The new pastas made from lentils ard rice noodles are not bad at all. Also love eating hummus about twice a week, there are many different kinds.

Is making pasta from that shit hard? Tried with squash, no thanks

Already pre made. Got from sprouts farmers market. Just prepare like regular pasta. It is amazing what is available that was not 10 years ago if you look at the right places. I think people assume these dishes don't have flavor, but really not the case if prepared the right way with spices herbs and good sauces and dressings.

Started the 2nd month of Insanity this morning. I've done this program before, but I don't remember it being that tough. I feel like the first month doesn't prepare you at all for the 2nd month. That was fucking brutal

2nd month workouts are just a BITCH. Even mentally when you see the one workout is 55min long. Like, fuck off.

But keep it up man.

I am going to Key West in the end of September. So I am lifting heavy now, will do so until late July, then do another round of Insanity to lead up to that. And take out the Recovery day and put an upper body workout in there

Guess that 11lbs of protein I just ordered will come in handy

I've been paring Insanity in the morning with a lift in the afternoon....is this too much?

I wake up early and complete an Insanity workout between 6-7am, then usually hit the gym sometime in the afternoon between 1-2pm. Should I reduce the number of trips that I make to the gym to 3 rather than the 5 trips I've been making? The 2nd month of Insanity is brutal, wondering if reducing the amount of time I spend at the gym will help with my energy levels.

I played some ball in college and had two workouts a day, but I'm now in my 30's and not sure I can keep that shit up.

I should note that I'm a teacher and would only keep this routine going through the end of August, after that I won't have the time.

If you feel you can do it, can't hurt. I only did 1-2 full bodies/week when doing Insanity. Didn't want to over-train and since I am not a PT or anything, I would rather keep it on the easier side than overwork. If you think about it, with all the push-ups you are doing, some shoulder work, 5x/week may be pushing it.

But if your body can handle it and you don't feel overworked, do it. Just know that rest is super important. And you hardly get a day off with Insanity in the 1st place.

That sounds like too much to me with the 2-a-days. How can your body possibly recover?

Don't get me wrong, I am totally impressed, but what's the rush?

Keep straining my shoulder. Takes about 4 days recovery. Its a pain in the shoulder, for sure.

There isn't one. Honestly, it's mostly because of boredom.

I like to get my cardio done in the morning before I head to football practice. Once practice is over and I get some stuff done it's only 11:00am. I have until the woman gets off work around 4ish to do whatever the hell I want. I figured I might as well be productive and hit up the gym.

Gonna be a huge cheat meal regardless o what happens tonight.

Shoulder injury is fucking bullshit. I've lost two weeks at the gym in the last two months.
