Diet and Workout Routines

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
My weakness is never sweets, just IPAs. I did a great workout yesterday, drank a whey protein shake with a banana afterwards, everything was fine... then after dinner I crushed a six pack. This is why I have a dad body.

Hoe Lee Shit

I'm on a lot of tren. Haven't been able to do shit because of my shoulder. I Said fuck it, I don't care if it hurts. I.. Could throw these machines around right now. It Is ridiculous.

Fucking joke of a cheat day.

The goddamn donuts are mislabeled, so I eat the wrong one. The cheesecake was fine.

The lady at McDonald's literally didn't speak fucking English, but she wanted to practice so I have to listen to her name every fucking item before she just hands me the damn bag of food, even though I'm yelling at her to "JUST. HAND ME. THE FOOD." after every syllable by the point she gets to the items in the combo.

The fries are at least two days old.

I get home, the computer crashes and the food is eaten by the time it reboots.

Fucking. Waste.

Food poisoning last weds night... better by friday AM. Weighed myself yesterday, down to 183! Fuck yeah food poisoning!

Taking steroids while injured isn't a good idea. Not only are you not maximizing your potential gains, but exercising an injured shoulder while using weights that it isn't naturally used to is a recipe for further injury. I'd recommend getting off your cycle and waiting until you have fixed your shoulder before going on again. Is your shoulder impinged? From your picture from two weeks ago, you're showing internal rotation of the shoulders, judging by your slouch and internally rotated arms.

Such a posture, which is usually from a combination of too much chest/not enough back work and trying to look big in the mirror or in front of other people, compresses the tendons and ligaments together, which can cause rubbing and inflammation. Do you experience any cracking of the shoulders, a snapping sensation when moving the shoulders, one shoulder visibly sagging or not in the same placement as the other shoulder or perhaps an uneven pressing motion (one arm bends outward/inward more than the other)?

I'm on tren and cutting. Not gaining. Closest I get to hitting shoulder muscles is bench, and I'm going light, twice a week, so long as it feels OK.

And I don't walk around like I pose man.

Tren and npp, and test, have significant effect on healing. Just because you're on something doesn't mean youre just bulking.

:lgh (13):

Try underhanded grip on bench. At best, it will alleviate your pain by not stressing your injured shoulder while fixing biomechanical issues. At worst, you become a better bencher through strengthened external rotators and better lat activation during bench.

The injury is entirely unrelated to exercise. It popped up after a non shoulder day. It seems to be exacerbated by sleep. I wake up and don't have much ability to rotate my arm/shoulder.

It's three weeks now. I think I could potentially shoot a basketball now, and that's a new development.

That is usually how impinged shoulders work. Was it a sudden onset while awake like trauma or a sudden injury from movement, or did you just notice it one day upon waking?

Just woke up.

It happened a few weeks prior.. Both shoulders. Both shoulders this time too I believe, but lefty recovered quickly

I've found the exact spot that's irritable. When I apply pressure I can feel it shoot down to my elbow

Yea this isn't fun.

I'm going to guess this is work related. I carry a significant amount of weight in a weird position, in overhead manner. Directly hits the shoulder.

Recovery looks fucking awful. Posters online assert it's taken months upon months to recover. My mom had rotator cuff surgery on both shoulders .. Might be genetic? Anyways she was out for like a fucking year.

Its improving. Every few days I say "now it's 90% healed," only to realize three days later how fucked up it actually felt up until the "new 90% healed."

Found a couple exercises, going to take nsaid. Considering cortisone.

I'm having the hardest fucking time with this.

I'm about 6'1", in flux between 180 and 185. I'm certainly not a cut 185. I'm not fat but I have some shit I want to burn off and tone up. I have a slender frame so it's easy to hide my beer induced belly.

Most of my exercise is playing hoops for about 2 hours 2-3 times a week. I'm moving to the Cleveland area at the end of July, and was thinking the best route I could take would be to add swimming to my regimen. I was thinking the whole nine yards, breaststroke, backstroke, and freestyle for 30-45 minutes for 3 days a week, and hoops the other 3. Rest on sundays. First of all, does anyone have any tips to improve upon this plan?

I have no idea where to even start with lifting. I don't want to try lifting and just completely fuck up my posture, etc. by using awful form.

Also, I have to get on a much stricter diet plan, which is the most important part right?

Diet is most important to keep slim. Lifting most important for building or maintaining muscle.

Figure out your bmr. If you're at a caloric deficit of 500 a day you'll lose a pound a week. 1000 a day, two pounds.

Can't gain muscle and lose fat at the same time. I suggest cutting first. I can help out with meals when you figure out how much you can eat

Won't swimming work out all muscle groups as well as burn calories? So essentially sculpt my body in both ways.

Nope. You can either 1. Gain or 2. Cut. You ether have a caloric surplus or deficit.

If you're new to lifting you'll make some gains while cutting, but that's not how it works after a point.
