Diet and Workout Routines

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Toying with the idea of going keto. I don't really like a lot of carbs anyways. The hardest thing to give up would be some fruits, to be honest. I am diabetic though. Have to research it more.
If you're diabetic I would definitely talk to your doctor beforehand for their thoughts. I have heard good things from those who are diabetic and on keto though. In some cases, even cured it (i guess one type can be cured?).

My diabetes is due to having a portion of my pancreas removed due to physical trauma, so I do wonder how effective it would be but I have read similar things. Not cure it per se but you can get your A1C to a point where your diabetes goes dormant, for lack of better word. That’s what I’ve been told anyways.

Seems like a good goal especially since I’m not really a carb heavy eater to begin with as I said.

300 lbs PR on front squat this past Wednesday. Ass to grass. Tried 305 on the next set and failed. I had the speed out of the bottom to get 305 or 310 on the first PR attempt had I gone for one of those weights.
Yo could use your input

At 187 @12%

End goal is 195@10%

Been cutting on tren for 8 weeks. Have a vial left and another goal of npp.

Worried that if I start a bulk now that weight will be lost because of the short amount of time it'll be there. Is there any truth to that? How woolf you finish off this cycle?

It's really not ideal to not do a cycle unless it had a plan and all of the necessary amounts of each steroids to complete it. Cutting on tren at your size doesn't seem worth it. I would have bulked on it, done a test taper, then cut afterwards. I'd continue cutting and finish off your gear. Nothing would be more deflating than starting a bulk on steroids, then stopping them in the middle. It would be like playing your trump card. Then clean bulk up to 220 or so, then cut down to 195.

a little confused here. What specifically is the problem? These are subjective things. If I come up with a plan now, that qualifies as a plan per tbis post and the necessary amount of compound is really set subjectively e.g. How much time I'll be responsive to the compound and how much I'd like to gain or cut. If I want to gain 6 lbs, then that meets the requirements youre suggesting, there's enough gear and it's a plan.

I can't imagine a "clean bulk" to 220 resulting in an extra 20 pounds of fat. That kind of yoyoing isn't fun or efficient or healthy either.

I dropped 25 lbs of fat and at very least retained all muscle (probably gained). That is exactly why people use tren.

"in the middle" is subjective. Stopping an npp cycle "in the middle" of a 24 week cycle is 12 weeks of gains. You have gained 15 lbs at this point. Do you have rationale here?

Thus cycle has been miserable.

No food no energy. Tren is fucking terrible for mood and aggression. Sex drive is insufferable

Think I've decided on 8 weeks of npp (starting at 185@11% goal is 195@13%) and finishing with 6 more of tren (recomp to 195@10%).

I may be good for a long time after that.

Down 5.5 lbs one week into keto. Would guess most is water weight as of right now. My stomach is definitely flatter and can see some vague outlines of upper abs. Was able to move down another belt loop this morning so that was cool to me. I only have 3.5 lbs left to go to meet my goal, but am planning to be on the diet for another 4 weeks. Not sure what I'm going to do if I hit it early...likely keep going if not clear ab definition.

So far averaging 1400 calories/day. 106g fat, 82g protein, 14g net carbs. Haven't really felt like I've been starving myself at all, which makes sense as the food is more satiating than high carb foods, but i did have some killer snack cravings sunday and yesterday evening. Had to make an emergency run to the grocery store to get some sugar free jello and whipped cream. Its done the job so far. You can make some really good keto friendly snacks, but that requires buying a bunch of shit I don't have in my kitchen, so I'm not sure if I'll end up doing that or not.

Get a tape measurer and you can do pretty well @ determining bodyfat.

The scale isnt a great barometer of progress

Lost a shit ton of fat in the last 8 weeks. Tomorrow is the last day before i start the bulk. Terrified.

Really don't want to lose the progress I just made. It gets really easy to eat worse when your goals change.

8 weeks cutting is done. Started at 192, dropped 3.5 inches from waist, ended at 186. Down 11lbs fat, up 5 muscle. That's a pretty fucking good cycle.

This before isn't the beginning before and the after isn't the end, I just don't want to take more pictures.

I'm getting like, a lot of attention. Playing softball the other day girl from behind home plate (she was fat) yelled out asking who I was and that I'm nice to look at and to take my shirt off. I got invited in by a couple guys that I delivered food to later that night because I was cute and had big arms.

I put a lot of fucking work in this last year and it does feel good to run into these compliments.

Starting an 8 week bulk tomorrow because I'm not filling out shirts like I'm used to. Then 6 week cut to try to hit 195@10%

Tdee calculators are horseshit.

I went down the entire front page of Google trying every one.

I ranged from 2500-3700.

.. Yea cool man, I could just accidentally put on an extra 3 fucking pounds a week if you're wrong.

Another PR. 385 on back squat. Deep as shit. Also got 300 on bench. Not a PR, but my bench hasn't been as good as it used to be (315 is my best), so approaching near my max has made me happy. Attempted 545 on deadlift today. I got it off the floor, but I ultimately failed. I know I'm approaching a strength breakthrough soon. 585 deadlift, 455 back squat, and 365 front squat be some goals before the end of the year. Id also like a 365 bench and 225 strict overhead press before the end of the year.
