Potatoes work for me, vegetables are going to be the best, bag of carrots, oatmeal, chicken breast, sandwiches, some ppl like rice, apples work for me. Salads - exchange dressing for salsa

You have to do some work and figure out your daily maintenance caloric requirements and then subtract 500 a day to lose a pound a week. 1000 for 2

I'm a huge chicken/potato/veggie guy as well. Makes meal prepping really easy. I usually marinate some chicken breasts in Italian dressing and grille it up on Sunday evening. Toss in some fried potatoes and cup of veggies and good to go for the week.

I do a lot of overnight oats in the morning.
1/3 cup of oats
1/3 cup greek vanilla yogurt
1/3 cup almond milk
1 banana
2-3 strawberries
Little bit of cinnamon
Maybe couple chocolate chips

If I work out in the morning I'll leave out the strawberries and add some chocolate whey protein and a little of the powdered peanut butter. Takes a couple minutes to prepare and breakfast is good to go for the next morning.

So, I'm being lazy. Any links to meal plans or calorie guides to make meal prep easier to minimize calories?

Carbs make people feel full. I'm going to guess those are the worst for minimizing calories.

Here's my "I'm way overweight lets see how much I can starve myself to lose weight plan" I did the first two months or so.

Two hardboiled eggs, one bowl of cereal (cheerios or wheaties), one low fat Greek yogurt, one banana (or some other fruit like blueberries), one protein shake and then some type of vegetable (I ate a lot of spinach).

You'll lose weight. But its probably not particularly safe.

But it worked for me when I was strictly trying to drop pounds.

You're gonna be starving too

Yea you just sorta have to push through that.

Seeing the weight fall of the scale was the motivation I needed to keep going

Does anyone have a solid RPT program in excel they could share?

@KI4MVP any chance you can give me a quick run down of your arginine routine for hgh production you mentioned in s34? Turning 38 in a month and training daily for the first time in years. Want to get some of my old bounce back. Did a little reading but interested in your experience

Try this when they get it back in stock. Take on empty stomach before lifting and before going to bed. Your body naturally releases GH these times, taking this will help you release more.

I've been lifting again, but have a question on days off. I've been walking 4-5 miles at a brisk pace on recovery days, what are some other activities I can do in between those three days of lifting?

What do you want to achieve? If it is recovery you could do foam rolling and mobility excercises. If it's to burn calories without disrupting gains you could cycle at an easy pace or a gentle swim

Days off being necessary has been refuted. The more often you lift the more you gain

Just got back into the gym for the first time in months yesterday. For reference sake, in the past I've typically started weight regimens when I was a bit doughy to tone up but these past 5 months I had been focusing on straight cardio to try to get lean as possible.

Noticed a considerable strength decrease in the chest but my arms felt pretty good. I did use creatine pre-workout just to get an additional boost throughout and it definitely helped. I am just not sure how I should proceed because I do enjoy looking leaner but I was starting to hit that "chubby fat" look.

Should I just focus on lighter weight, more reps and continue to calorie restrict or should I just go all-in on hitting weights hard while eating balanced diet?

Anyone messed around with the 'Lose It!' app before (https://www.loseit.com/)?

Started following the daily calorie budget and weight loss plan it set for me (after inputting my specifics) and I'm down 8 kg (17.6 pounds) since October 1st (89.4 kg/197 pounds to 81.4 kg/179.4 pounds).

A steady diet of portion control, cutting out the white bread and snacks and consistent daily exercise has done the trick for me. I'd like to drop another 10-11 pounds before I hit my ideal weight - pretty cool to see the results and to know that something as simple as an iPhone app can help change your lifestyle.

My issues with Jeans are getting worse. I have 35 inch waist, but 48 inch hips. Havent measured my thighs recently, but they must be closing in on 30 inches. I'm wearing 38 34 Levi 541 athletic fit Jean's right now (so 3 extra inches in waist size to accommodate the butt), and the athletic fit gives extra room in the glute and thigh area. Even then, they are beginning to look like skinny Jeans. The fit is actually pretty perfect right now because fitted is in, but, if I get any bigger, I Might have to give oxcllth.com a try.

Btw, can we get some leg shots of Dave?
