Do we still get swept if we kept the same roster we had before trade deadline (Except IT)?

@billmac91, Is there any hope of Lue getting shit-canned? Any cause for optimism at ALL?

It's 100% dependent on if LeBron stays in CLE and wants a legit coach, or LeBron leaves, at which point keeping Lue becomes cost effective without hurting the tank.

Lue would be a great tank coach, IMO. He'd accomplish the goal of losing games. I guess, my issue with keeping Lue in the event LeBron leaves (which I think will happen) is the lack of development with young players. The great thing about Sam Hinkie and Brett Brown was their ability to lose games but develop young players.

I don't think Lue has that ability, but it'd save the team a lot of money to keep him on staff.

If LeBron stays, I think its critical they get a coach that understands how to handle star players but elevate the team. That isn't Lue. If LeBron is back next year, Lue isn't IMO.

Lue kept JR in -- > JR kept the Warriors in it --> LeBron put his fist in a whiteboard. Game over. Game 1 ended everything psychologically but a similar recipe derailed game 3 with JR keeping the Warriors close until KD exploded at the end. We were the only team to not beat them at least once which was embarrassing

Wade had to lose weight when he got to Miami because he had let himself go here, not to mention he was a problem in the locker room.

Crowder sucked, and was a locker room problem.

Rose was one of the worst players in the NBA during his time here.

If we don't make those trades, I doubt we even make it to the Finals. Regardless of what their replacements did, it was addition by subtraction.
