I think it was an indictation this was coming when he said saturday he was use to more touches and being a volume shooter. He will get closer to his 15 shots a game he is use to vs the 8 he was getting. I don't think his minutes with LeBron changes. Just the minutes he plays with Rose. I bet they switch off on the floor and play a couple minutes together when LBJ rests.
 
Spacing isn't the only problem. He looked bad even next to a .40% 3pt shooter in Calderon.

Wade needs to have an offense catered to him in order to be anywhere close to a positive. If Wade wants to play with Lebron, Lebron needs to play as the roll man with Wade initiating the PnR. You can't have Lebron run the offense and have Wade stand at the 3pt line, you just can't.

Our bench was supposed to be our biggest strength. If Wade and Lue intend to make Wade the focal point of the unit then we signifcantly downgrade our bench to generate whatever PPP Wade usually generates nowadays.

He still needs to pick his spots and we need to have a very structured offense to make everything click.

Who fucking cares. We need to worry about TEAM continuity on defense, offense, and with the rotations.

This is a stupid fucking question.

We have how many months until we need to worry about individual matchups with GSW?

5 months.

Until then, the only question is this: how do we get better, as a team, with the pieces we have?

The fact that it happened so quickly makes me wonder if this was pre-planned between Lue, LeBron and Wade? No better way to improve team chemistry you know.

Anyway, Good on DWade.

But people need to be patient. It will take him a while to get used to his new role. But, I am confident he would be a good solid player off the bench. At best, I hope he can replicate what Iggy does for Warriors. If not that, just cancelling out Livingston who has killed us down low in a couple of playoff games would be huge as well!

Agree 100%. This is great for both team PR and for Wade personally.

Now, if we can just trade Shump and get him out of the lineup, and get Frye back in the lineup, we'll be well on our way!

I think Wade will do great with 2nd unit.
