ECF | Game 1 | Cavs (0-0) @ Boston (0-0) | May 17th, 2017 | 8:30pm EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I feel like I trust Derrick Williams way more than Shump. And that's not really a Derrick compliment.

I just don't understand things like this...

Shumpert has been a lockdown defender ever since game 2 of the Pacers series. A bit up and down offensively. But even tonight, only 1-6 from the field but he had 5 rebounds, an assist,a steal and 25 minutes of high level D.

Like him or not, he's been a key rotation player in our 9-0 playoff run so far.

I wonder is next game maybe the Celtics run more than one play per quarter or they will play there three rim rebound offense again.

Windy deleted his tweet about thinking the Cavs lose smh

Last one to the Magic Number thread to post a pic of Bingo Smith is a rotten egg!

How many points did kyrie have?

Yeah he made a huge Key defensive steak when Boston started a mini run and that killed it basically. He is much more useful out there and has been playing great Defense again.

Having watched Brown I can't imagine the Celtics don't shop either Smart or Crowder this summer. He's the future, and frankly Smart won't have a place on that team with Fultz coming on.

Yeah, Shump has been really valuable as an 8th/9th man this postseason. He's played better defense this run than in any time last postseason.

Don't think Irving's play tonight is anything to be concerned about. He was just never really needed to contribute anything. Thats how good Lebron was and how well Love did offensively.

Per Synergy, Brown ranked in the top-25% in NBA at defending P&Rs, shots off screens, spot-ups, and post-ups. He is a very good defensive player. Reminds me a lot of Jimmy Butler early in his career.

Didn't check stats or something but I think that they rebounded the best when they played their really small ball lineup because all of their guards worked hard to box out so we need to get ready for that again, also we need to get ready for Green and Brown getting more burn...

Agreed. His shot is still not there, but again, everyones shot was rusty besides Kev and Bron.

Still moved the ball well. Just didn't really have to score and LeBron had the mis-match all night while Kyrie had Bradley on him.
