Marcus Morris and his twin can go scream in each other's faces... wouldn't be much different than jerking off in the mirror for them
Might have to join you in drunkenness, Bob.I love this bar!!!!!!!
No team in the Eastern Conference has been able to beat Lebron for 8 straight years.
Feels so good to beat this Boston team. Bron was pumped at the end.
Hopefully an official SHUT THE FUCK UP to posters saying he's been on the edge of quitting since January.
You know who you are.
If, shoulda, coulda,woulda.
Kyrie wasn't there for his team, who's to say he'll be this time next year?
Also, nobody get on Jeff Green again. He is now officially our second best player.
This is true.Really unreal we fought through that awful first half.
Go watch LeBron’s body language half way through the second quarter. He was about ready to just throw in the towel. No one doing shit and nothing going right.
Then the role players have a really nice spurt to get us back in the game and LeBron got his bounce back.
Props to Green and TT. Two guys who got shit on all year had really, really good games.
Now lets hope Love feels good the next day or two and Houston finds a way not to shit itself.
I actually dont necessarily agree with this.
I actually think that since Hayward was already out, Boston's only hope was as a super grit-n-grind squad that won with defensive pressure and physicality. Kyrie obviously gives them a huge amount of crunch time ability and he gives them really good individual offense....but Kyrie also takes more control of the ball and offense and besides a couple weeks early in the season he still managed to be a complete sieve on defense. Like in the 20 point beatdown post trade...Kyrie couldn't even stop Clarkson. We killed him. And we hunted him out the entire game.
I actually think Kyrie's presence would have unlocked our offense to the point where Boston simply couldn't keep up. Also, important to remember that game 7 was pretty much the only game that wasn't a pretty solidly "comfortable win" for either team.
Like even last year...Boston was a much tougher out for us when they relied on their grit-n-grind squad that relied on Marcus Smart hero ball.....team wasnt gonna beat us in a series but they were better off against us with that team sans IT and trying to ugly the game up versus having IT out there and completely unlocking our offense.
TL;DR- I don't think Kyrie guarantees a different outcome at all in this series and it's just as likely we would have beat them in 5-6 instead of barely hanging on in 7. Or maybe we do lose...not saying it's impossible just saying I don't think it's that simple.
Agree with you we need to upgrade the squad. I think we need to get the singular, best 1 piece that we can get with the pick PLUS Kevin Love. It would be awesome if we can use that package and get a really super nice "Pippen" for LeBron. Kawhi is the dream, and I'd include Cedi and unprotected 2023and beyond picks if I had to to get him.

Out of the night that covers me,
Black as the pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever gods may be
For my unconquerable soul.
In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed.
Beyond this place of wrath and tears
Looms but the Horror of the shade,
And yet the menace of the years
Finds and shall find me unafraid.
It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate,
I am the captain of my soul.

On the surface the cavs look to be pretty big underdogs, however consider this.
- The celtics havent lost this post-season at home. 10-0
- The celtics as an organization have never lost a playoffs series after going up 2-0
- In NBA history a team has gone down 0-2, 300 times in a playoff series, only 19 times has that team come back to win the series
- There have been 130 game 7's, the home team has won 80% of them (104)
I made the game 7 game thread in round 1, after which the games went on a 5 game winning streak.
The cavs are 11-3 in post season games while Ive been in my home state (maryland)
The cavs are 3-0 this year when I go to the local bar during the game (ill be going to the bar).
Oh and the cavs have the single greatest elimination game player in NBA history.
Your starting lineup for the cavs
Lebron James
aka GOAT
George "Chipotle" Hill
JR "broken pipe" Smith
Tristan Thompson
And finally being completely unable to trust anyone else on the team Tyronn Lue opts to start..... HIMSELF as the cavs 5th starter
Potential bench players this game include Lue favorites.... Iman Shumpert, Jeff Green, Mickey Mouse, Jeff Green, Jordan Clarkson, Jeff Green, and Rodney Hood. Players that absolutely will not be seeing the court include Larry Nance, Kyle Korver, and Cedi Osman.
They will be matching up against
and for your damn youngins on the board I give you the Book of Dimes
Spurs said that it would take a Godfather offer. Tell your dude to get in Koby's ear.

Could the Spurs possibly turn that down?
Yeah, no.
That's how you form dynasties in other markets ala what we did to Boston, or the Nets to Boston...shit, I'm sensing a theme here.
