Fallout 4

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I still love this game so fucking much. Just started another playthrough for the holiday season so I'll have a bit of time. It's like ultra-hardcore mode. Such a classic game.

Have you seen Fallout 4: Frost (mod)? Definitely worth playing if you've got some spare time and, like me, you like bleak, hard, near-impossible shit.. :chuckle:

Yeah, I was watching something on YouTube about Frost. It's what made me get back into it. Unfortunately, I'm a console plebeian, so Frost isn't available, but the mod I'm using does its best to replicate it (insane damage multipliers on both ends, extremely low carry weight, rare loot/ammo/medicine, constant rad damage outside if you aren't using a mask/meds).

It's fun, I've got about 10 hours in and I haven't even cleared out the first raider settlement at Corvega because I've got to loot to stockpile ammo and supplies before having a chance at tackling it.

Heads up. Fallout 4 currently half price on steam

Just got that alert. Is it worth it?

It's worth $60, right now, despite the fact that it'll turn three years old this year.

Snag the game for $15 and get the DLC for another $20ish. Fantastic game.

It's like fallout 3, but now you can spend hours decorating your wasteland house.

I know you're being facetious but it's actually nothing like Fallout 3, FWIW. And the moddability is actually a pretty awesome way to keep the game going.. Just look at Skyrim. The "decorating" is just a mechanic that allows for user-driven content and customization to dominate the gameplay.
