Finals Game 4: Warriors @ Cavs, Friday, June 9, 2017, 9:00 PM EST

Bull fucking shit. They came up with an excuse not to kick out green when they remembered they had aready given him an technical

I don't officiate as much as I used to but this is a cardinal sin in officiating. Officials are absolutely not permitted to keep track of fouls/techs. Going back and changing a call from earlier in the game is unconscionable in officiating and completely out of line.

The NBA attempts to have it both ways. They want to be able to make adjustments without reconciling the fact that ANY adjustment is evidence of shenanigans.

I am far more offended by the Draymond flagrant fouls that went uncalled. The F1 is worded in such a fashion that any excessive contact above the shoulders is a F1. He very clearly extended his elbow into Shump's face on the first one. On the second, he got caught up in the air on a Tris fake and came down with full force using both of his arms. Getting caught in the air isn't a flagrant worthy offense but when you come down with both arms with nasty intentions it absolutely is. Once KLove got called for his flagrant there is no excuse not to call this on Dray. And the Zaza punch, I just don't understand how you can let a guy do that while yelling "faggot" which was easily audible to the public. I mean he hit Shump, re-gathered and swung at him again. That is unacceptable.

Yet all i hear is Warriors Bandwaggoners cry "Game 4 was Rigged FOR the Cavs!!!!!!"

Dray should have been thrown out as should Zaza... and he probably should have gotten suspended..

They straight up kept cheap shotting us... But yeah... the Game was rigged FOR us..

I still cannot believe the outcry. The scandals were almost entirely against the Cavs (Dray continuing to play, flagrants/techs all going GSW way, etc) yet GSW fans were up in arms. It reminded me a LOT of last year when Aisha said some similar things about the league being rigged in a season in which her husband became the first unanimous MVP and her life was enriched greatly.

I tend to think that Warriors fans are increasingly likely to be casual basketball fans and as such don't understand the razor's edge that officiating in the NBA often is. For the record, officiating in the NBA is about as difficult as it gets. The quality of play and the quickness of actions is out of this world, and Championship games between by far the two best teams escalate this even further. I mean you could literally show a play from two different angles and have fans completely disagree about what the call should be. There is no winning when you can get the call right and half the fans watching still disagree.

Did we ever find out what the conversation between Bron and KD was? I suspect KD said something dumb about the KLove foul and LeBron called him out on it but I never heard anything concrete. It went on for a while...

I think GS plays so fast they cannot be reffed accurately. It is why they are able to use their hands so much

I'm still basking in this awesome win!

I know it's not a title (yet), but winning a Finals game at home with a record-setting offensive performance feels pretty good. (And I really like how the Cavs persevered through the Warriors' runs and sketchy officiating throughout.) And, preventing the Warriors from going 16-0 and celebrating on our home floor (at least until Game 6, theoretically) feels great, too.

Regardless of how the rest of the series unfolds, I think last night is a game to remember.
