Fire Mike Longabardi !!!

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
It's he fired? Dumb dumb business move not firing him and daring Lue to quit. Could have saved millions. Then if he didn't quit, you fire him. Dan should have had me handle it and I would have taken 3% of Lue's remaining salary.

The main two issues I see with the defense is picking up ball handlers on incoming. a switch is useless if the ball handler is coming in at full speed.

the other is the help defense or lack of and with all the defenders we have seen post kyrie these issues seems problematic of the scheme moreso than the players.

We have seen this coaching staff and players play successfully 4 different schemes in 4 different playoff series in the same season.

yet longabardi has made the defense one dimensional.

This has limited the Cavs in game adjustments and without guy like Lebron there are no comebacks or adjustments outside of personnel for the Cavs to throw the opposing teams off beat.

Thompson also said the Cavs couldn't unleash their blitzing defense -- sending multiple defenders to slow down Hawks rookie Trae Young -- as much as they wanted on Sunday because they "didn't learn blitz package yet."

It's possible Lue's contract gave him the right to pick his own assistants. So, firing Longabardi may have put the Cavs in breach and forced them to pay Lue anyway.

I don't know if that is the case - just saying it's possible.

Makes sense that it would be a sticking point last year. Good point
