Has zero to do with CLE. This shit happens everywhere, every game, in every sport. I'm all for getting a good buzz at games and having some good fun razzing opposing fans, but sometimes this shit just gets downright stupid. It's the dumb ones I always point out to my kids. I show them how stupid grown ass adults can be. Great way to deter kids from acting like morons is to show them what they look like in action.

It just seems that way because these are our hometown teams. I've been to almost 15 different stadiums in other cities and this shit happens just the same way. It is frustrating because you want your fellow fans to act with some dignity, but in the grand scheme of things even the worst places are only represented by a very, very small minority by these kind of people. CLE fans should, for the large part, hold their heads high. We've had to deal with some tremendously frustrating sports teams that tend to leave you a bit sour walking out of a game. But, for the most part, we don't feel the need to take it out on other fans....for the most part.

I took my kids to a game in CHI vs the White Sox. They were only 10 at the time. You should have seen all the beer muscles talking shit to us. I just laughed, as most of it was just good natured ribbing, but there was one guy in particular that was idiot personified. Who finger points with multiple f bombs to a guy with his little kids next him because we had just had a big inning capped off by a 3 run HR??? Well, this guy did. He called us every name in the book as I sat there and just smiled at him. Security threw him out a few mins later as all his fellow CWS fans cheered his removal. It was great. I never had so many opposing fans come up to me and my kids just to say sorry and shake my hand.

Living in Chicago I have been to comiskey more times than I can count. I have had some indecent experiences as well. I have curley hair and some drunk ass to get "my faggot Jewish ass out of here." I'm not even Jewish. I guess I don't really have a point to make other than agreeing with you that in a lot of places there's just some real pieces of shit. Never had any problems at wrigley though, interestingly.

Worst fans are Boston fans. They just won a ship in each of their major sports and act like they haven't won in 100 years. Unbelievable they boo Brady in the playoffs for losing. I'd be happy just to be in the hunt every year. Of course I'd want a superbowl, but I'd never boo my team for losing in the playoffs.

If a fan wants to show up at a Browns game in Steelers gear, I won't care (unless they're cleveland born Steelers fans, I hate that). If the fan in the opposing stadium isn't being a douchebag he should be able to watch in peace. If he's being an asshole then he deserves what he gets.

I went to the Browns game at Cowboys stadium this year and the only people that gave me crap were the people seated around me. And that was only after they got bullcrap penalty calls that the refs gave them.
