Game 29 | Warriors (27-4) @ Cavs (22-6) | December 25, 2016 | 2:30pm EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
What a game....

The Cavs are just too physical for them. I don't think the Warriors come across many teams that can match their talent and push them around at the same time...the Cavs are that team and I think it gives them a hard time.

As others have said, some of the inconsistency from the refs is troubling. KD was yelling and staring people down all damn game and nothing was called, don't even get me started on the shit Draymond gets away with. RJ winks at KD after he threw his skinny ass in the bucket and gets a tech? I don't mind the RJ tech as long as they would've stayed consistent with the calls.

Is there a single guy on that team that knows how to lose graciously? It seems like all the talk was that they let it "slip away", there's a difference between letting one slip away and the other team taking it from you. They come across as a bunch of entitled crybabies

Is there anywhere I can watch a rerun of the game online? I have it recorded at home in Ohio but I'm at my parents in Illinois currently. Looks like there's a shortened rerun on ESPN at 4AM EST but I'd like to watch it now if possible.

For those concerned we shoot too many threes. Watch this game. When the game slows down and post-season intensity picks up we attack the rim, rebound, play gritty, and refuse to be shaken.

I just love this brand of big-smalls 90s ball the team plays.

If Lebron wanted he could of scored way more then 31 and get more then 13 rebounds, but Lebron wanted to remind the Warriors something about the # 3-1 lol

The shot is what sealed the win and it was wrapped in pretty paper with a bow on top, but I got to highlight two other facets of the game I thought have been overlooked.

Cleveland forced Golden State into 20 turnovers, that is uncharacteristic for that team. Also gotta mention the struggles of Curry. While it will be looked at as him not being in any sort of flow, the aspect of Liggins guarding him will be overlooked. Curry was 4-11 and 2-7 from 3. Alot of that is with Liggins on him. DL might not be an All-NBA defender, but he hounds his assignment and it showed.

Very nice win on Christmas. The no call at the end is being discussed too much, there were plenty of fouls on the Warriors end that weren't called. Kyrie is sick, he can out ball handle anyone in this league and how fitting he comes up clutch again.

Finally got to watch the game thanks to the link @Meny provided. Some thoughts:

- intensity was off the charts
- Durant is going to cause us some issues with is ability to get to the basket. Other than LeBron, we don't really have anyone to guard him and stop him from doing that. And we don't want LeBron to have to bust his ass every defensive possession trying to stop him. Luckily, they really seemed to just go to Durant iso for much of the last 5 minutes. Hopefuly their offense devolves into this when the going gets tough in the 4th if we see them in the Finals.
- LeBron was phenomenal in the 3rd, Kyrie phenomenal in the 4th
- Liggins did an awesome job and definitely got in Curry's head. He really is Delly 2.0 - bigger, faster, stronger, more athletic. With that said, I'd really like to see us try to involve Liggins more offensively. He's still pretty timid and we don't really look for him. If we can get him confident offensively, he becomes that much more valuable to us. Against lesser teams, i'm talking about specifically running plays for him - let him shoot 10 threes in one game, really try to boost the confidence.
- Would like to see us go to Kevin more. He looked like he was able to hang well enough defensively and I think we should be able to use him more the exploit GS's lack of size
- Finding a good lineup to give Frye some minutes against was huge by Lue. Gave us 10 quick points in the 2nd quarter.
- We are definitely in their heads. We could have played a lot better early on and been ahead for most of the game. At the same time, they did not make a lot of open shots early on either, and had some chances to really balloon the lead on us. It will be interesting to see the second game at GS and see how we respond there.

To be exact I think golden state lead for all but 42 seconds.

Great win for us but we need to improve a lot :
1- rim protection. It was too easy for them to get to the rim.. How many point did they score in the paint? Too much!
2- We played with only 8 players rotation and that is not good at all. We need absolutely to improve our second unit. Shumpert and RJ were both 0/14 five min from the end.
3- LBJ please work in your ft and cut your TO.

Can someone clarify the substitution of curry going out the final cavs possession? While the nba has said it was a legal sub, it seems it only happened because the refs went to review how much time should be left on the clock. As i doubt the warriors had someone waiting to sub in for curry.

Seems the review benefitted both teams on that one. Though not sure kyrie-iso is much of a play.

Also every damn recap i have read mention that durant got fouled at the end. But fails to mention the shitty taunting call against RJ or the fact the officiating was horrible, all day, against both teams.

No the warriors weren't cheated out of a win. Stop trying to spin it that way
