Game 33: Pelicans @ Cavs, Monday, January 2, 2017, 7:00 PM EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
That was a hard one on the eyes.

Jefferson is a true pro's pro. Comes here and gives it his best to do the things the team needs, not just the things he likes to do or the things that has made him money in his career. 12 boards for a 38 year old small forward. That's good stuff.

Davis is one of the most protected stars in this league. He's on the verge of missing the playoffs for the 2nd straight year and 4 out of the 5 years he's been in the league. I know his numbers are great but he's considered a top 5 player and you rarely hear a negative thing about him. His team is shit but so was Kyrie's his first 3 seasons but even after winning a ring all we hear about is his lack of post season success from when he was 21. Seems odd to me..

Ridiculous post. AD is amazing. He's had a horrible roster around him from the start and still managed to carry them to the playoffs. Bigs just don't have as big as an impact as perimeter payers because they don't have the ball in their hands as much.

Who's the best player he's ever played with?
I already said he plays for a shitty team. I'm just comparing his lack of criticism to what a guy like Kyrie has gotten and still gets for not making the playoffs as a 21 yo on a tanking team. He'll Love averaged 26/12 and got the blame for missing the playoffs there just seems to be a double standard

Look at the roster man. I'm not sure what you're trying to argue here, or how Kyrie fits in, but just look at the roster.

Honestly, who has heard anything about Kyrie not making the playoffs recently? That's ALL you ever hear?

I guess I can't understand the gripe because I haven't seen or heard anyone talking about Kyrie's lack of postseason play for a long, long time.

I hear it or see it everyday

The roster does suck but so did all of Kyrie's and Love's pre Lebron. Didn't mean a thing to the media or critics though

Vardon said lebron has started coughing. Flu going around.

Well, the difference is Davis has made the playoffs, whereas Kyrie hadn't.

And tbh, we were trying to win that last season. We went out and paid big bucks for Jarret Jack who was coming off a great season. Traded for Luol Deng and Spencer Hawes. Like, we were trying to win.

The Pelicans are not.
