Game 52: Cavaliers (36-15) @ Thunder 30-23

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
These guys weren't going to go hard 3 straight games in the regular season. This was a easy one to see coming. Of course, Lue found a way to overplay LeBron in defeat. His speciality.

Only thing of consequence from tonight is that Williams looked surprisingly good.

Best news of the night is Williams actually surpassed my expectations by a lot.

Hope he keeps it up.

Needs to actually try to rebound though and give more effort on defense.

But his offense has some potential here.

I agree but I really hope Griff is looking into a defensive roleplayer or two.

What to takeaway from this game: Derrick can be a servicable big for us. Also, we give way too many fucking threes, why can`t we defend threes?

It's very simple. When Kyrie and Felder get beat on every play the help has to come from somewhere. And the Cavs have been terrible at rotating back to shooters.

Just to be fair, we were missing our first, second and third string shoot guards tonight. It's hard to be much more depleted at a position

Depends how you count. Korver plays SG, too.

Williams turnover out-of-bounds was the beginning of the end. We had the game tied. He changed the momentum. Boo.

Happy that Williams looked decent tonight.

I know we're short-handed and our guys were gassed and giving about 70% effort, but I'll be damned if our stagnant 4th quarter offense, and the ass raping Adams gave us don't prove that we desperately need a playmaker and a big.

-16 on rebounds, -10 on assists, +3 on turnovers. Pretty poor effort.

I don't think there is a rule that we have to lose EVERY 2nd night of a back-to-back. They should win one for the sake of pride. Just to show they can...

Also I'm really fucking glad Steven Adams doesn't play on an Eastern Conference "contender" or on a team we will see in the Finals.

I want that guy by the deadline. Offer Shump and McCrae.
