Game 53 | Denver (24-29) @ Cavs (36-16) | February 11, 2016 | 7:30pm EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
TT at times looks like he has two inches on Love. Love looks like he's shrinking.

Dunno if it is true, but Fred said that TT grew an inch 3 years ago and is a legit 6'9". I think Love is not quite 6'8", but you can see TT is just slightly taller than LeBron.

Well we said no about trading Osman for Korver so it would have to be a pretty legit player for us to trade him.

Yeah this player has a safari right now.

Shooting 55% from the floor and hitting 15 threes will pretty much beat anybody. Enough said.

How about the fact Love is averaging more points as the third option, opposed to Jorik whom is averaging 16 a game as the number one option.

Love is the better rebounder of the two. Love is a better three point shooter. Love's RPM Wins are higher. Love's DPRM higher.

More importantly, Love is the better fit on this team. Goodness, can we stop acting like we have spoiled milk on our team. Jokic is a good player. He might end up better than Love.

You're telling me you'd trust a 21 year old more than a 28 year old? A seasoned veteran and NBA champion? For all we know, Jokic would make too many costly mistakes, things that don't show up in stats.

I'm not trying to act like he's not talented, or doesn't have a bright future, but we are seriously disrespecting Love a lot. Man.

Imagine Kevin's numbers if he was on Denver? You know, a shitty ass team.

The guy was averaging 26 and 15 as the number one option in Minny. He's pretty damn good. Let's not pretend Jokic is that explosive at this point in his career.

couldn't reply to you last night.. Jokic is only playing 26 minutes a game and he scores 16 points on 11 FGA a game, his per 36 is right around Love's PPG, 1 less rebound per game and 5.9 assists per game playing the C position while having much higher OREB% and more impactful rebounds. You might deny it but Love likes to fish for rebounds. If Love is such a good rebounder, why are we getting killed on the boards when we have such good rebounders in Love and TT?

Jokic had a rough start for the year coming off the bench but ever since he was inserted in the starting lineup he has been on an absolute tear.. his RPM is higher than Love's and it keeps climbing while Love is downtrending.
Love is a good outlet passer but when you try to have him as the playmaker on offense in the half court set he turns the ball over a lot. He can't see over his defender or make an accurate pass and when he gets the ball in the post on an ISO he is extremely vulnerable to double teams and he becomes TO prone. He can't generate open looks to his teammates out of the post aswell and it almost always results in him trying to score.

You telling me his young age is a negative now? why? he is extremely mature for his age, he rarely makes a mistake while playing tons of time as their playmaker. Denver was coming off a 2nd night of a back to back and yet he was still dominating while being completely exhausted.
I don't know how Love would fare in Denver because he isn't the same player as he once was in Minnesota. I can only speculate but he would probably score around 22+ points on lower than average FG% for a PF.
I'm not disrespecting Love.. I just think that he doesn't have the case for being the better player right now if you discount his history.

I'm not sure Love is the better fit on this team but it's certainly debatable.
It looks like I hate Love or something but I don't. You have yet to completely realize how special Jokic is.

TT himself said in training camp a few years ago that he was actually up to 6'11".

Love really does look smaller than 6'10 by quite a bit. Lebron and him are around the same height but LBJ has longer wingspan and reach.

Love was officially 6'9.5" in shoes at the NBA Draft combine, Tristan was 6'8.75"

Depending on their shoes, and assuming neither has grown, safe to say they are both about 6'9"

So Lebron is 6'9 too?

Yeah, probably. That's been a widely accepted height for him even from his first tenure with he Cavs.

Garnett dwarfes Kevin but Garnett has lied about his height ever since he was drafted. Love and Derrick Williams are around the same height.

Who drafted Joe Harris ahead of Jokic?
