Game #59 | Cavaliers (41-17) @ Assets (38-22) | March 1, 2017 | 8:00pm ESPN

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
When Shump is bad, he's horrible. There is really no defending that guy right now.

Washington is the team that worries me the most - not Toronto , forget Boston

DWill's first game and he was one rimmed-out shot from a doozy.

LeBron with an incredible triple double. Derrick Williams looked great again until we asked him to score in crunch time. Korver overcame a shooting slump to hit a big shot. And Boston's execution down the stretch was frustratingly good. All the attention on Thomas and he dishes to wide open guys. But fuck up on him and it's a big shot or a free trip to the line.

Overall great game that just didn't work out for us. Oh well. I wouldn't even be mad if it wasn't Boston, a city that doesn't deserve to see a good team for the next 50ish years. Please God let Washington or Toronto bounce these fuckers in the 2nd round.

Still no Kev or JR. Still working in our new pieces. If anyone overreacts to this game they are wasting their time.

Derrick had some bonehead plays in crunch time.

One of the reasons I think Jefferson plays more come playoffs.
Williams is just an energy player at this moment. The problem is his energy isn't bringing in a lot of rebounds. 31 mins and only 3 boards aren't enough.

He's gotta improve in that area if he's going to get mins come playoff time.

Cavs didn't push pace.

Screwed around first part of game, picked it into the 3rd but Celtics wanted it more. Really, if the Celtics were better they could've been up 12 going into the 4th because the last 3 minutes of the 3rd were some ugly offensive basketball.

Surprised Deron played so many consecutive minutes given it was his first game, but we've seen this pattern with Derrick and Korver where the team just played very disjointed and sloppy for a few games after they came on board. "The new guy" just seems to impact everything.

I read a stat that 99% of Boston sports fans are either pedophiles, murders or rapists. Can't remember where I read it, but I am sure it's true.

Lue might have to consider changing the starting lineup.

You're basically getting zero from Shump and Frye right now.

Tough to start games that slow.

I'd start Korver Friday.

You know he feels comfortable in Atlanta....

Also once again I love the media forgets that we do not have Love, Smith, and Bogut is not here and the team is not fluid. NOPE fuck that give the Celtics the title the Cavs suck again... I am fine with being the underdogs again.

The cavs have to not play into their pace. Everytime we go into that building we get put in situations of half court offense needing to win the game. It just was not a good effort from the start. Shump needs to go this summer, I can't see him getting better, especially with his now albatross contract.

Just unbelievable how bad he was tonight in a playoff atmosphere. I know people say he will turn it up for the playoffs, but a lot of guys turned it up for today And Shump was an absolute turn stile

Just who is. Terribly inconsistent. Cavs tried like hell to move him. He won't hang on this summer.

IF we're going to play Derrick Williams in the playoffs, he needs experiences like these. I have no problem with Lue trying him out deep in the 4th qtr of this game.

Serious talent and depth infusion is great, but it's staggered and tempered by JR and Love being out. It's going to be a continual adjustment as Bogut comes in, JR comes back, and finally Love returns.

Each one of those will require some tweaks to roles and rotations and that can take a few games for players to acclimate to

We can't lose our best scorer off the bench. Shump just has to figure that sh*t out.
