Game #59 | Cavaliers (41-17) @ Assets (38-22) | March 1, 2017 | 8:00pm ESPN

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I read a stat that 99% of Boston sports fans are either pedophiles, murders or rapists. Can't remember where I read it, but I am sure it's true.

I used to love Boston, as a city. Now I hate it, mostly because of their spoiled-rotten, whiny fan-base who gets fellated from Bristol, CT on a daily basis.

Watched game on DVR late thought I might as well post my thoughts

Kyrie and IT are 2 of the best scoring guards off a screen iv EVER seen in the NBA.

TT is unstoppable against this team

Derrick Williams can freaking ball

Boston is one of the few crowds that boos EVERY CALL against their team. I know home fans are supposed to do that but it's freaking annoying because even on clear fouls it's loud boos like STFU scrubs

Stevens is not above telling his team to get chippy if things look bad and it often gets them back in it

Jalen Brown on Boston can freaking play if his coach wasn't holding him back

Bradley shoots the least efficient shot in basketball constantly and is just really good at it. Explains why he's available for trade every year. He does nothing else offensively.

More to come it's only 3rd quarter

33 seconds left in the 3rd and Iv just gotta say the Boston crowd is HORRIBLE. A guy pushed TT in the back to keep him off the boards and the crowd explodes when the foul is called lol Crazy part is this team is QUICK to get chippy when they need to smh

Accidentally checked Twitter and saw the score

Loss doesn't affect that good things were done. Gave Deron way more mins than I expected. Boston copped out and got Kyrie in foul trouble knowin damn well they would've called maybe ONE of those calls in the playoffs. Thomas looked trash but he's a guy who claws at you all game consistently so by the end of the game he's somehow got 30 points but you can't remember him really being good

Your observations are always thoughtful and instructive, @Kizzle.

Celtics deserved the W tonight. Made big shots down the stretch (so did the Cavs) but their home crowd brought them home.

Nothing to worry about without JR, Kevin Love (and now Bogut). They might take us to 5 games.

And Williams being intergrated.

Always hate to lose to the Boston Celtics but this game doesn't irritate me as much as a typical Boston loss usually does. Maybe because I'm so excited to see how various lineups work and stuff that I know it won't be perfect overnight. I'm not even mad D.Will missed that three in the corner. I'll tell you want, the other D.Will continues to impress and I hope he is here for the foreseeable future.

Eh..I could debate they deserved to win..while it was a good game, the Cavs broke down more on the defensive side than the shots they missed.
I always say about Shump, he has a bad habit of going under the screen instead of fighting over it..that allowed Thomas to hit that one three he made.
Kinda wished Lebron would have bowed Bellyache when he crashed into that camera man..

I shouldn't be pissed about a regular season loss, but I fucking hate Boston and their fake ass fake tough guy fans.

With that being said, I still don't think Boston makes it to the ECF. A lot went right for Boston to win that game. Sprinkle in the fact they treated that like a game 7 and imo the cavs showed some playoff energy with 5 minutes left in the game. This game reminded me of last year's loss to the celtics. Cavs dicked around and kept the Cs in the game, which allowed them to make plays at the end.

Meh, no worries. Let the "flagship" get all excited about a win against Cleveland in Boston, with 40% of the Cav's starters out, integrating D-Will and Lebron completely looking for D-Will to be the hero. All that and they barely beat the Cavs? They're an after thought. Cavs are in the Finals. No doubt.

Not a catastrophe, but still a winnable game and a stupid loss. The Cavs could have put some distance between themselves and the Celtics, which could have led to rest at the end of the season. And they could have helped themselves with HCA throughout, in the event that the Warriors don't make The Finals.
