Game Thread 2018-19 Season Game #19 | Cleveland Cavaliers vs Minn. T'wolves | November 26th, 2018

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Who will start the Markelle Fultz safari? Come on, you know you want to!

Third game in four nights, all against solid opponents. Moral victory of sorts.

The scheduling algorithm must be buggy. A team should never have 4 days off and then 3 games in four days. A team should never have 4 days off OR 3 games in four days. This is the 21st century.

The Cavs lack a true Alpha on the court. A guy who can keep all of these other guys in check when they try to play above their abilities. We don't have anybody out there who's good enough that other players can differ to. Nobody feels like they need to take a step back for anybody else and that leads to bad play.

JR was our alpha; there will be a period of adjustment.

Our guys didn't play well and were in it till the end not a bad sign

The offense is straight out of the 80s. It’s not good and doesn’t make a lick of sense. This has to change. Don’t know what Drew is thinking with this.

Defense continues to be very solid.

Agreed, but I'm hoping that it's a combo of 1) personnel and 2) backdoor tanking strategy. It looks more fluid but there's a lot of things that just seem kind of.... OLD but working. I watch the Clippers and it seems like night and day.

That the team is actually learning defense after how many years of Cuban B'ing that side of the ball is encouraging.

He has a roster that was essentially designed to work around a once-a-generation superstar who controlled the ball. I think he has done a pretty solid job of working with what he has vs. Trying to force guys to do things they can't. He's adapted to the talent on hand.

No...our offensive sets are outdated and retarded. Has nothing to do with what he has.

Definitely a different strategy than Lue.
