Game thread: thunder @ warriors

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Webber: "I'm just being a realist, OKC played over their heads the first 4 games....This is where it is starting to set in for OKC that they don't have KD anymore" etc. etc.
I believe that to be true, to be fair.

Guys are winning against mainly average teams while Westbrook is playing out of his mind

Area21 featuring KG and Sheed has potential to be great tv. When they feel like cussing, they press the cuss button.

I probably couldn't do it justice. It started with Kenny and Chuck acting like they wouldn't talk to each other like Westbrook and KD if Chuck left to somewhere like ESPN. Then Chuck started talking about how he wouldn't go to ESPN because they work long hours and don't get paid anything. It was really funny. Need to find the clip.

They might have some, but even if it's true, you don't kick someone while they are down. It's bad enough getting blown out and seeing KD go off on you.

But one bad game doesn't mean they are bad. It was an emotional game that his teammates didn't know how to handle. They were coming off a back to back. Just a tough game overall. Yea, they might be playing over their head some, but Webber is acting like they are in serious trouble after this one game. That is a huge overreaction and just mean after a game like this.

They all do this unfortunately.

Espns caption on the front page was "Durant torching his old teammates".

It's horse shit, but they're trying to throw fuel to the fire anytime they can.

Glad you guys watch these assholes so I don't have to. I literally watched nine Warriors games last season and all of them were against the Cavs.

The few times I've tried to watch them outside of Cavs games it isn't long before I'm just like "fuck these guys are insufferable". Just everything about them. Even their colors and their court annoys me to look at for some reason. Too bright and too fake-loud I guess.

Yep.
He's actually a better fit on the Warriors than LeBron was on the Heat.
Well of course...that's because LeBron is too good at too many areas of the game. If he joins your team, the team dynamic invariably has to change for your team to be at its maximum effectiveness.

Durant fits on the Warriors well because he only has 1 responsibility...get open and shoot. Since Durant is one of the top 5 shooters in the game, he's obviously going to succeed in that kind of role.

Also, unless Durant plays completely out of his mind all season, the voters aren't going to make him MVP. Backlash is real.

I thought it was cringeworthy myself. That whole segment reeked of old guys trying to act cool. It's kind of laughable that their whole shtick is "keeping it real", when they come across so wooden, forced, and unnatural.

I think the problem is KG's personality. He's not meant to be a media guy.
