Hair Loss & You

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Do what LeBron does...I think its hair transplanting, or something like that. (Thats what those scars are from on the back of his head, behind his right ear area)

Yeah. The rumor is that he didn't join the Rio Olympic team because he was getting this procedure done.... But why does it always disappear by the end of the season only to magically reappear at the beginning of the next season?

I'm 26 now and I've been thinning up top for some time. Chemotherapy unfortunately seemed to expedite that process... I've receded a bit, as well.

I've been using the Minoxidil Bob mentioned (It's Kirkland brand from Amazon) but usually only use it once at night because it fucks up how my hair looks when I apply it. Sometimes I try to apply it in the mornings as well on weekends and wear a hat when I'm out and about.

It seems to do a good job at filling in very thin spots with regrowth. Won't do much for the receding though. Use it consistently for like 4 weeks to see some results. And make sure to continue use.

I've also started taking Biotin daily which is supposed to help fill in some of those spots and slow the thinning.

Honestly, I'd love to do an FUE transplant (very minimal trace of any treatment, usually highly effective) but I don't have $4-8k at the moment. Can't justify it. I also would need to find an established doctor.

I, too, use Nioxin shampoo and conditioner (treatment 2). You can find this online in large bottles. This helps slow the process and also thickens what you do have.

Lastly, look into Nioxin Diamax Advanced. This can really help thickening up your current hair. It used to work wonders for me but lately just makes my hair look puffy.

Good luck!

I don't think pubic and back hair counts.

I am starting to get this weird strip of back hair right down the middle. Started like last year. Have no other hair on my back.

Also get like one wild hair in my nose and 3-4 in my ears if I don't trim regularly.

My pubes are well maintained and I use the same trimmer on my face as I do on my pubes. Been using it since freshman year of college. It's got 16 year old pubes in it!!!

I'm going in to get a haircut today, asking for the Dr. Phil. That should help me on tinder.

My brother does that with his trimmer. He got MRSA on his dick.
