Happy Trails George Hill

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
?
Hill is the one with a minutes restriction and Drew played him more than 10 minutes over.
Sexton looked confused when he was taken out.

Why do you care about Hills minutes restriction? Who gives a shit- if he gets hurt, so what??
Again, Sexton played 32 minutes, perhaps they had a cap on him tonight. We just don’t know.
Not everything is a conspiracy after one game.

It matters if he gets hurt because he's a valuable 20 mil expiring that is one of our most tradeable assets when trying to acquire young pieces.

Not to mention the media nightmare if he got hurt while on minutes restriction.

I’m not going to condemn Drew over one decision, esp since Sexton has made progress under him and is playing extensively every game.
Well see How he continues to manage minutes, or hear if he was sore or something.

Sexton was surprised to be pulled. We got Clarkson pointing to him multiple times when he came in and you could tell by Clarkson having to point that many times that Sexton couldn't believe he was being taken out. We then got Sexton reaction going to the bench, he walked slowly to the sideline and then sat down really deflated.

Suns want a stop-gap PG.. would they give up on the apparent train wreck that is Josh Jackson's 3 Pt shooting % and general play (plus cap filler) for Hill? Wouldn't be a bad flier for George's still semi-warm carcass.

No way they give up Josh Jackson for hill. Still allot of upside for a half year rental. We would have to give them a protected first too, which no thank you.

Another non shooter. This team is like a clogged pipe

I was thinking we'd have to take back Ryan Anderson's contract and a 2nd.

The non-shooting thing is of course, concerning.

I've been annoyed at George's reluctance to shoot the 3 last year. I heard he was launching indiscriminately in Sacramento only to see him pass up 3's a lot here.

Didn't the guy seem shell shocked from the moment he was acquired to the end of the finals? He had randomly good stretches but something seemed off for someone with considerable experience on multiple playoff teams to not shoot and be so passive on a team that lost 3 lead guards to trades (Kyrie, Rose, IT). When he gets traded we might forget he even played here in a few years.

Yeah total Cavs killer who really only was good for that last Pacers game.

That was worth while and important. Too bad he couldn't keep it going in the later rounds but it would have sucked if the Cavs were out in the first round. Would have been a completely different, less pleasant, story all summer if they got knocked out in the first round.

Ive also wondered why he is so reluctant to take 3s. My only guess is that he is looking to his next contract and thinks that he needs to keep his 3 point shooting percentage up. I feel like GMs have to know how passive he is now and his assist numbers have never been that good. I really only see the Bucks and Sixers as destinations for him, the question is if they will give up the assets or contracts to get him.

The word on Sacramento was that he was content to just jack 3's, and he was leading the league in percentage.

Once he got here, he wasn't just not hitting them he wasn't taking them. I thought it was just him deferring to LBJ, but man it is something else. Maybe he is depressed and just wants to go hunting and fishing in San Antonio.
