1) The Dallas Cowboys, a team lining up Cole Beasley as their WR1, wouldn't have cut him.
2) Any of the other 30 teams in the NFL not counting the Browns or Cowboys would have at least inquired or been linked to him a bit.

That is going to work better now that the Browns have a legit starter, or at least should have a legit starter. In the past it didn't work because you only have room on the roster for two active QBs and one scout QB, and they would be thrown to the wolves before they were ready, if they were ever going to be ready. I still see this tactic as a way to develop your backup, not your franchise QB.

Comparing Dez to Greg Hardy is a hot take. Dez's mom is a crack dealer/addict who has spent extended time in prison, lets not pretend like shes a princes and all her claims are gospel.

Oh, he also got kicked out of a mall once for wearing baggy clothes, the horror! I'm not going to claim he's a boy scout, but I also don't think he's some thug. Locker room cancer? There are mixed reviews there.

It's not as bad, but still, this is a reason I have an issue with Gregg Williams. He was paying players to try and ruin opponents' careers. I'm sorry but it is incredibly difficult to root for that.

I'm not here to argue how good Dez still is. I do know he had at least 2x the amount of yards and 3x as many TDs as the best WR on our team last year.
