Hard Knocks

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Donte Stallworth.

Okay, let's look at him.

The Browns signed him in 2008. In March 2009, he committed vehicular manslaughter and was suspended by the NFL for a year. The NFL reinstated him from his suspension the day after the Superbowl, and he was terminated immediately by the Browns. So from the second Stallworth committed that murder, he was never on the active roster, and never wore a Browns uniform again.

Pointing to him and saying "we've had murderers on the team" as if the Browns tolerated his conduct is utter B.S..

That is good to know. I thought they signed him afterwards. Thanks.

I want this team to go 8-8, and I think there is talent to do it, even if it is at the high-end.

But damn, every time I hear/read Hue speak I accept that we are going to go 5-11.

Again, the virtue of all this is that Jimmy gets to see all of it as well. So if some of us are cringing, there's a good chance he is as well. Perhaps hearing it from family members, friends, etc....

As much as I dislike Hue, he's definitely been a victim of a narrative on this practice thing.

He has said explicitly that holding guys out of practice is in response to the 'Zebra' tracking data which indicates when guys are at greatest risk of soft tissue injuries.

Yet his quotes are purposely framed and aggregated to seem as though he's advocating for leisurely practices and he's against practicing hard.

Again, I think Hue sucks...but I'm never a fan of intentional misrepresentation by the media.

I'm not sure where the misrepresentation is. I thought it was clear from the media reports that Hue was doing this to reduce the risk of injury. The issue/disagreement is whether or not Hue is letting his concern over injuries override the need for his team to get in real practices.

Hopefully this one gets uploaded to the net quicker than last week's episode. Took like four days last time.
