Hard Knocks

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
For me, the allure of Hard Knocks wore off after episode 2. I just didn't think it was good tv. It was alright, but I wouldn't have kept watching if it were a different team. Orchard, Roback, and Cajuste weren't intriguing players to me.

They likely capture footage of just about everyone and then come up with some story lines or players that are compelling, likely even using a polled audience.

I don’t mind the studs not being in the limelight. It might mean that they were too busy focusing on their craft and not promoting their brands. I just wish they got Myles to go off for 1/2 an episode on dinosaurs. Like 30 straight minutes of dinosaur discussion.

Actually they were set up to have Myles talk about dinosaurs with Nassib at the natural history museum and Myles canceled like 45 minutes before he was suppose to show up. The usable footage was in the montage at the end of episode 4.

Bunch of cynical mother fuckers in here. Jesus. :chuckle:

The show was solid......I think it did a good job highlighting a lot of the fun, interesting characters the Browns have on this team. Too many are focusing on the cliche storylines they have every year (i.e. underdog players) vs. seeing the bigger picture.

For me it was just interesting to get an inside look at all the facilities....how some of the front office and personnel interact.....it's perspective that you really can't get without a show like this.

Meder kind of sucked, so its not surprising to me. He's known for 2 things - being from Parma and blocking the FG against the Chargers. I mean I do feel a little bad for him though. He told Zegura the last preseason game how cool it felt when he wasn't dressing for the final preseason came to not be a fringe player anymore. NFL - aka Not For Long.

Hard Knocks was cool. I liked the in depth look at the team. I don't see being on it as some "bad" thing for the franchise that some people made it out to be.

One of the producers was on 9.23 The Fan - said this has been one of the best received Hard Knocks ever. They have never done it before but if the Browns were open to it they may use the Browns next year again.

“My goal this season is minimum 14 sacks and to become the new face of the city of Cleveland with LeBron being out of the picture.

What a lot of people aren’t aware of is that Tyrannosaurus Rex wasn’t the scaly lumbering reptilian beast gen-x’ers were educated about in school. In reality, it’s back and neck may very well have been covered in colorful plumage, much like it’s ornithological (birds y’all) descendants of today. Some recent simulations indicate that T Rex may have topped out at top speeds of around 15mph MAX. Still pretty fast bro. And also...rather than the loud screaming sounds we’re used to from the Jurassic Park franchise, it more likely made deep guttural rumbling sounds when hunting.

I’m really excited about getting the regular season started guys. I gotta go ice.”

Was the bolded said by the producer?

I’d be all about it. I loved every second of the Browns on Hard Knocks, and the rest of the country fell in love with us too.

Producer was asked if they would consider doing the browns again next year and the way I heard the statement was, "...we have had repeat teams in the past, but never back to back. Its not impossible..."

I thought it was a good program.. I get why they focused on players on the bubble.. it's about hard knocks, not about the megastars..

Pursuing an nfl career as a bubble player is physically and emotionally tough. Not surprising some are a little crazy, actually.

I think Orchard succeeds in life regardless of his NFL career. Just my opinion..

My son is obsessed with dinosaurs and loves to hit. Spinosaurus is his favorite as well. May bode well for future NFL DE prospects.

I do not believe my son is related to Myles Garrett.

I give you a 70% chance of being right.

My son is obsessed with garbage trucks. He has toured the waste dump site twice, and the second time they gave him a toy truck and outfit TO KEEP.

But now he loves Lego’s. I feel like this is the best hobby that you could ever hope for. He is def going to be a waste management engineer.

He also looks nothing like me and might not be my son. My wife’s bestie in CA, Aaron, looks very similar actually. But it couldn’t be him, bc gay. However, those gay guys drink themselves straight for a couple of hours sometimes, according to my unmarried sister, who has made out with several of them.
