Hearthstone

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I hate the current meta. Anyone with some fun/troll-deck ideas?
Confuse Priest for troll. Or Silence Druid.

Shadow Reno Priest for fun. Look up Kibler's deck. It's a blast.

Only one more week though of this meta, so that's good.

Oh yeah, I already played Kibler's Shadow Reno Priest, as well as his Anub'arak Reno Rogue. They are both insanely inconsistent, but still cool decks.

And man, my body is so ready for the next expansion. In the words of the great Bart Scott: CAN'T WAIT!!!

The Shadow Reno Priest is just so effing fun. It's not a deck you carry to legend or anything, but it has enough tools to let you climb. I took it (mostly) to rank 9. Stalled out a bit when i started mixing things up for quests. But man is it fun. Possibly the second most consistent Reno deck behind Renolock for whatever that's worth.

It's really cool, Priest is one of my favourite classes anyways. I'm currently playing a heavy anti aggro Priest list that counters Zoo, Aggro Shaman and Secret Pala, but looses badly against mid range decks.

I don't know about second most consistent Reno deck though. I don't like the card draw in this deck, which is generally so important in Reno decks...
Have you tried Strifecro's Molten Reno Mage? So much fun as well. You have insane value cards like Duplicate, Conjurer, Scarab, Echo, Brann.
My favourite play against aggro (provided you have all the necessary cards in your hand): Let him trigger your Ice Block, than you play Molten into Molten into Reno into Echo (10 Mana exactly) = Insta concede
It obviously doesn't work all the time, but when it works... Man, it feels so good! :chuckle:

Here's the decklist: http://www.hearthstonetopdecks.com/decks/strifecro-molten-reno-mage/
I replaced Sylvanas with Harrison Jones, as I currently see lots of weapon classes at rank 5-6.

Just chillin' on the top 100 bubble until the expansion drops and I can either:

1. Dumpster my rank by playing decks I create and mess with
2. Play aggro shaman on launch day like every other try hard.

Based on card reveals today, you might be playing Shaman til the end of the season, and then for the next two years straight. :chuckle:

Considering how you've been finishing @Cassity14 have you been playing in any open tournaments or anything? Any aspirations for BlizzCon points?

I may really try for high finishes and play in tournaments once the school year is over. Right now it's pretty much playing in and managing Team Hearth League, getting legend each month because I'm addicted and then farming golden portraits (I'm only high right now because the season is still early and I had a nice little streak on tempo mage while grinding for golden Jaina), and doing some fun little streams here and there.

Actually, because I'm legend and can't really spend time learning decks, I've been streaming playthroughs of TellTale games lately lol. Today I'm aiming to start GoT.

Oh nice. On Twitch? I'll throw you a follow if you're willing to share the link.

Best Expansion/Adventure yet apart from face Shaman.
Meta's the wild west out there man, but wow is it fun.

I pulled 7 legendaries from my opening (well 6 I guess since one is C'Thun), and I've got a bunch of decks I wanna try, but I wanna finish these quests before I craft anything else.

So far, I've played a C'Thun Druid and Evolve Midrange Shaman. Both incredibly fun.

Also, can't tell if I'm super excited or super bummed that I'm sitting at rank 5 amongst the try hards. Got a slightly positive win rate so far, but I'll bet it's more fun down a few levels.

What decks have you guys been playing?

My team and I theory-crafted a bunch of decks that ended up not very good yesterday (apart from aggro shaman of course).

I love this time of card games. Everything works and everything doesn't work.

I saw the most success with a fairly basic looking C'thun priest. The amount of healing priest has no is incredible, and they have access to a lot of solid bodies to control the board while C'thun gets buffed up.

Midrange shaman is so difficult to build because there are too many cards that are powerful in a vaccuum without accounting for synergies, consistency, etc. Early verdict is that the deck was overhyped again.

Ultimately, I could see shaman take a more hybrid route so that it has the same incredible early game with just a tad more midgame.

A buddy of mine has a good aggro paladin deck brewing that could be something, and another is determined to bring zoo back in a new form.

I was hyped because I thought midrange hunter would come back into the fold, but man it got destroyed yesterday. Maybe hunter ends up going the very slow, deathrattle route and includes N'zoth.

I played for like 6 hours yesterday and feel like I made almost no progress. Awesomeness.

I didn't get any decent hunter cards from packs, so I haven't tried the new midrange yet. I'll see if its good before crafting.

Is your buddy making his aggro paladin with all the Divine Shield givers? I got swarmed by one yesterday. Also, speaking of zoo, saw a couple Councilman/Forbidden ritual decks that were looking pretty good.

The most creative one that I saw was a C'Thun dragon priest. Kept great tempo and that 3/6 that buffs C'Thun with every heal was REALLY tough to deal with. Gonna play around with that one later.

Working on a N'Zoth Dragon Paladin too that's showing some promise. I've got a Deathwing Dragonlord I want to put to good use.

All in all, I climbed from upper rank 6 to upper rank 5 yesterday purely on theory crafting, so I'm pretty happy so far!
