Hue Jackson and Todd Haley Fired

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I don't get all of that hate for Hue. He was the perfect combination of hilarious ineptitude and underachieving that comes once in a generation. Only he could fail so bad to land the Browns a franchise quarterback after 20 years of busts.

And even now, this selfless man is about to kamikaze the Bengals.

Godspeed Hue Jackson

Talk about failing upwards.

Does Hue have dirt on Brown?

The Bengals are a very...strange organization.

We make fun of the Browns being backwards and generally failing from a personnel standpoint (rightfully so in this era), but the Bengals just...got insanely lucky with Marvin Lewis.

-My friend claims that at one point? Their scouting department was pretty much some pharmacist that was a fan of the team. This was the case he says, until very recently.

-Mike Brown being cheap is also an urban legend/thing told among the fanbase.

-We have a typical NFL training facility over in Berea. It's nothing special, it is what it is. There are HIGH SCHOOLS with more advanced set ups for a training facility than the Cincinnati Bengals.

Credit to Marvin Lewis. This will probably sound hilarious to even utter outloud, but if he had a half way competent organization to work with? Perhaps he'd have gone further in the playoffs.

It's the principle for Mike Brown. Sticking it to the Browns by having a head coach who's paid by the Browns. That's all. Joke's on him, IMO.

Some teams fire and pay a coach for years just to be rid of him. Other teams hire such coaches and get a bargain while team 1 pays said coach. It's called... Winning.

I love that kitchens is using Haley’s playbook and doing a better job then he ever could with it.

Clearly, Todd Haley didn’t do a good enough job. He tried to make everyone fit his offense versus adapting to the personnel.

That said, I do appreciate that we haven’t heard a single peep from Todd Haley.

As hot as Baker is right now, I’m sure shows would love to bring in Todd to talk about him and the offense. However, nothing. He’s doing what Hue should’ve done.

He sucked this year for us, but I respect how he’s handled it.

I felt like that needs stated.

Quite frankly it's due to the fact that Haley is Actually a professional coach and not a media hound or kiss ass like Huey. It would surprise me if you would ever hear anything from Todd ever on what happened here.

Only way you’re hearing something from Todd is in a book and years from now.

Or, you can probably catch a nice anecdote or two if you find Todd in whichever watering hole he's spending time in now.
