Are you kidding ? Of course he would wanted to be treated like Kyrie because we traded him for Kyrie and statistically he was a better player than Kyrie when the last season ends. I am not even talking about he was in 2nd all nba team and he was in the MVP conversations.

so you expected him to come here and act like he was nobody or a rookie right out of college ? and you wanted him to come off the bench for who ? Calderon or Rose... If you really were expecting that I think you are out of your mind. He had to do that for LA because Boston and Cavs pretty much killed his career together and he is in a desperate situation plus LA has a guy in his position drafted 2nd overall (I believe he is big bust who shoots FT less than%50) so they have to start that guy. But if they want to re-sign IT and I believe they will try, they will have to guarantee a starting spot for him next year.

this whole thing is on Lebron... He should have shown better leadership to integrate IT to the team and this could pay off since we clearly need a second scorer who can create his own shot when Lebron struggles and now this role belongs to Hood or JC and they never played a play-off game. I know everybody in Honeymoon mode after the trades but I believe we are in trouble, I hope I am wrong.

I will not stop saying that because that's I believe; We gave up on IT too early. He is fighter, he can create his own shot and he can feed guys in the paint. We gave up on him because Lebron did not want another leader in the team if it was about performance JR would be the first one to go. And if he decides to leave in the off season we wouldn't have any MVP type player who can lead this team.

PS: I think I should add this: Instead of expressing your opinion you can choose to be loser and click one of the buttons on the lower right like Funny, Disagree etc. So just act like your regular day as a loser. Oh and you can call IT as midget as well that would make you a big man.

You must have missed the part where IT played like the one of the worst players in the NBA for the Cavs, while simultaneously being a total cancer off the court.

The Cavs were absolutely right to give up on him. Even his "improved" play is not nearly good enough for a team with deep playoff aspirations. And his total lack of defense was a horrible fir on a team with so many poor defenders.

15 games in a new team after being out for 7 months does not count. He needed more time to adjust and get his rhythm. Kyrie was playing like thrash after he's back from injury and probably Kevin Love will be same. Again that 15 games does not mean anything.

It's too early to say The Cavs were absolutely right to give up on him, if he starts playing like all star next year that'd prove The Cavs were not absolutely right.

and I never bought this being cancer off the court and addition by subtraction crap. If there were good leadership and coaching for the team this could have been handled differently. Having a rookie gm, inexperienced coach and a leader does not want to be leader off the court did not help.

The Cavs didn't have the time for him to get back to himself. That is one of my biggest issues with the IT trade in the first place. Athletically, if he ever gets back to the old IT it will be next year. His contract expires in that time frame. So IMO the timing of the trade never made sense.

Look what they got for him, almost nothing. He was an expiring contract. You think if he was this major piece, he would have fetched more, but he wasn't and no one wants to pay him. Timing was the most important aspect of the whole thing.

Usuallly great players with major defensive flaws and or physical drawbacks are 6th man candidates. I still feel that is his best role.

This.

Its funny tho cause he just looks like a different player (as does Crowder).. The Cavs score more than enough points on a nightly basis but my goodness that offense is trash...

that is BS

To your credit, you said as much from the day the trade happened. Even when most others on this board - like myself - were optimistic about what IT could bring to a team like the Cavs.

Watching every Lakers game it's pretty evident how problematic IT's personality and On Court demeanor really is. I'm not surprised it rubbed the players the wrong way.

He is just mouthing everyone. That is a fact...Napoleon complex at it's finest.

Truth is he thinks he's a God after that Boston season where his name was in MVP talks.

So much so that he wanted to come in and get in all these young guy's faces right away, the wrong way.

If I was Randle i'd be getting upset too. The fuck have you done to make you so great you can come berate me, on my team.

Being a team leader is not an overnight thing.
